I love this gel. It's truly lightweight and doesn't weight down my hair too much. It's very moisturizing and holds the curls without making my hair too greasy.

I am really torn with this product for my curl routine. I have fine but dense wavy curly hair that needs hold to maintain any definition whatsoever. I'm not a fan of hard holds gel purely per leaving my hair like crispy hay and feeling too heavy and scrunching out crunch doesn't work on more loose curls and only leaves me with frizz and poofy strands. Typically I just use a light leave in and a gel or mousse for hold. I really loved the clean formula of this gel and cheap price point which is why I couldn't resist trying it. I adore the fresh citrus smell which is a huge bonus. Problem is like many gels that falsely avertise as medium when this gel is absolutely light hold. I applied it generously after my leavein and that had to add more when drying as I could feel it wasn't giving enough definition which I was suprised by as I used little leavein and a very light one. I did love the fizz free smooth results and thay my hair never felt heavy no matter how much applied even touching up on dry hair which is impressive. It is definitely a product you have to use on its own to offer true hold. My hair isn't damaged at all but very dry by nature so I am not a fan of solo hold only stylers and long run don't feel it will give me the moisture needed of using with a leavein but I may alternate using it solo per loving how clean it feels which is rare for a gel. Definitely recomend trying at the least! 🖤🩷🖤🩷

I've been using Cantu products on my curly hair for a few years now. I love the scent of all the Cantu products. I loved the Shine and Design Custard and they no longer make it. I was trying to find something that worked for my type 3b curls. I searched their website and found their new line. This really is lightweight and holds the curls with not too much crunch. My hair does not feel dry or too oily when I use it.

doesnt hold curly hair together as well as i thought, but still works pretty good with moose. doesnt hold hair throughout whole day. not bad of a smell, just smells kinda like chemicals, the shine of it is really good once it settle in with the hair. texture of it is not bad either.

I can’t find these in the store so I have to keep purchasing from Amazon, but I have curly hair not extremely tight girls, but my hair is curly. It doesn’t amazing amazing and it’s not hard and sticky. It’s beautiful. I got compliments from my husband and it worked on my son’s curly hair as well.

Smells fresh like an ocean breeze kinda scent and I think that’s all it’s good for, is making hair smell nice. I have fine wavy hair that gets crunchy with the smallest amount of most products. I applied a quarter amount to each half of my hair and there was no hold at all. Instead, my hair immediately felt dry and when I tried to brush the product through (and this was after already having detangled my wet hair), any slip I had in my hair was gone and it started knotting and was difficult to brush. After giving it a shot three different times, I gave up. All those nice sounding ingredients but the formula did nothing good for my hair.

Le gustó mucho a mi esposa no le deja residuos y si se le hace el cast, el olor es como entre herbal y dulce, cabe señalar que tiene el cabello delgado, porosidad media
