The gift recipient loved the variety of snacks included in the box as well as a product sheet description. Had the seller offered a wrapped product with beautiful design, I would’ve paid an extra $7-$8 for the option (not Amazon gift wrapping, yuck). Otherwise, the gift was well received, thank you.

Great unique snack items to try

On a whim I purchased a subscription to the Bokksu Authentic Japanes Snack & Candy Subscription Classic Box. I purchased it during a special promotional deal and had it sent to my daughter who is a senior in college, minoring in Japanese. She had just returned from a summer in Japan and I high hopes she'd appreciate the goodies in this box.It took three weeks from the time I ordered until the box arrived. That seemed like a long time to me, but I think I must have ordered the subscription at a time in the month when one box had just shipped and the new month had yet to start.When the subscription shipped I saw it in my Amazon orders and could track it there. There was no notification of the shipment. Because the cost-per-month of the subscription was higher than i wanted to pay, I cancelled the subscription after the box shipped, knowing I could restart the subscription at a later date if desired.My daughter received her Bokksu Classic Box and enjoyed all the snacks and candy contained in it. She said there was a good selection of high-quality products and it was a nice surprise that put an exclamation mark on her time spent in Japan.This is a fun way to send a creative gift.

Great assortment and definitely worth the price! You even receive a booklet on all the different snacks and what’s in them, allergens, what they taste like, and where they come from.

Not sure how it happened - since it's very clear on the website when you're purchasing just one Bokksu box - because the price is higher - but I purchased one box for one time. Annnnd they started me on a subscription. Worse - when I signed into the account - it didn't show that I was subscribed to the Bokksu subscription anywhere in my account on the website. I had to contact bokksu to cancel this subscription I never started. They were difficult and kept shipping boxes. The unexpected expense was not appreciated. The credit card allowed my fraud chargeback on only one of the two unordered boxes. Really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Snacks are good tho. But ordering is too risky.

This is my 2nd time ordering a seasonal Bokksu box and I am beyond satisfied. The price is a higher than I'd like to spend, but exploring and trying these new japanese snacks genuinely bring me joy so well worth the price tag. The quality is top notch, wrapped beautifully, very fresh, wide variety of snacks in the box and size is plentiful to share
