I bought this adapter for using several months, it still work well.I Have cat6 in the walls and connected computer and it worked very well. I tried several devices and it was very smooth.What i decided buy this item becuase it is cheaper than other seller, but it finally satified me, it works normal, i satisfy its quality, functional.that is all...

Had a projector where the transmitter extender went out. Spent over $600 on a new one which didn't work at all, even with new wires and the whole thing. Bought this gadget and it works great for what we needed and less money for what we were told needed fixed and it works like a charm.

I used it to connect a directv receiver to a Lg Tv and it doesn’t work well. The colors are distorted. I bought two and both have the same problem.

Purchased to connect to a conference room display. Total distance was less than 30 feet, but we had limited conduit space so running an HDMI cable was not an option. We would be connecting from a variety of laptops and tables and operating systems. Connecting and duplicating the screen was mostly successful. However, extending the display led to image distortion, resolution issues and connectivity problems. The problems seemed to vary from device, graphics card and/or operating system. Need something reliable, so spent a lot more on a different solution.Left 2 stars since is did function fairly reliably when just duplicating the display.

Specification claim of 30M (98.4252FT) HDMI extending capability is vastly overstated. I ran over Cat5e at 50-55FT and got a barley flashing, extremely pixelated image. At 30-40FT I had a really nice image. The price and run length were my deciding purchasing factors. For price, 5 Stars. For run length, 3 Stars. 4 Star rating.

Worked surprisingly well and just 1 cat5 cable.

Very happy with this product. I am using it to connect an cat. 5 cable to a laptop that has an hdmi port but does not have a cat. 5 port. It works great.

Works well, sending video over cat5 with no need for a plug to power it. However the connector is very wide and on 2 TVs it blocked the HDMI port next to where it plugged in. If it has to be that wide then they should have included an adapter or something. Update: 3 to 2 stars because it doesn't work up to 30meters as advertised. I have 3 sets, the 2 shorter runs work, but at 60ft(18m) it does not.
