Featuring a 24 VAC solenoid with manual actuation, an internal scrubber filter to prevent clogs, and easy servicing with four captured screws, it ensures reliable, maintenance-friendly operation. Compatible with major irrigation controllers and optimized for smart water conservation when paired with B-hyve controllers, this black PVC valve is a direct replacement for Orbit’s heavy-duty valve manifolds. ## Description Automatic inline valves are the most common valve in today’s irrigation systems. The L-Series incorporates the very latest technology in inline valve design. It features a 24 VAC solenoid, manual actuation with a quarter twist of the solenoid, and is available in flow control versions. The L-Series valve is the current standard valve in the heavy-duty preassembled valve manifold. An internal scrubber filter helps keep the valve clog-free. Four captured screws in the lid allow for easy servicing. The threads are 3/4-in. or 1-in. female pipe thread (FPT) and are compatible with Schedule 40 and 80 PVC fittings as well as the heavy-duty preassembled valve manifold and fittings. The L-Series solenoid features nickel-plated copper wire and is compatible with all major brands of 24 VAC irrigation controllers. We recommend B-hyve controllers for optimum water conservation and PVC-Lock fittings for fast, glue-free installation. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only. ## Features - For controlling the flow of water in sprinkler or drip irrigation zones - 24 VAC solenoid includes manual actuation with a twist of the solenoid - Internal scrubber filter helps keep the valve clog-free from dirty water - Four captured screws in the lid allow for easy servicing of the valve diaphragm - PVC construction with threads available in 3/4-in. and 1-in. This difference is worth noting if using this to replace a 57100 because you'll likely need to modify (extend) your piping a little. The female threaded fittings are not quite as thick as the green one, either, so more care is needed to not overtighten and crack them. The heights are roughly the same, so no clearance issues related to that aspect. The best feature of this pro model is the flow control knob. Another nice feature is the captive screws on the bonnet - no more hunting for screws dropped in the valve box. If you have a zone you need to reduce the flow on, I'd recommend this pro valve. If Orbit made the plumbing dimensions identical, I'd give it 5 stars because it would save a lot of time to do the swap. ## Frequently Bought Together - Orbit Pro 3/4" FPT L-Series Automatic Inline Sprinkler Valve with Flow Control - 57290 - Orbit 57461 1" FPT Jar Top Automatic Sprinkler Valve - 2 Pack - Orbit Pre-Assembled Valve Manifold Slip Adapter --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/671431548-orbit-pro-3-4-fpt-l-series-automatic-inline-sprinkler](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/671431548-orbit-pro-3-4-fpt-l-series-automatic-inline-sprinkler) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
