Genuinely fast-charging replacement for Sony original. The onboard usb charging connection is ingenious and convenient.

PROS-works well in my A7II and A7RII-USB-C charging very convenient (no need to carry dedicated chargers around), can even be charged from powerbanks-includes USB-A to USB-C cable of a good length-comes with a cover for the contacts, which will make the occasional inspector at airport security happy (I’ve had a few be concerned of “exposed contacts” on batteries, so a roll of electrical tape is always in my camera bag for that reason).CONS-less capacity than some of my other third party FW50 batteries (but room has to be given to the charging elements, so it’s understandable)-no indicator of charge level when not charging (I have a different USB rechargeable battery for my Nikon camera that also includes a green-yellow-red charge level indicator, which is very helpful). When it is charging, there is a red LED for “not full yet”, and a green LED for “fully charged”, but these turn off when you unplug it.-only charges at a max 5V 1A (5W), so make sure you give it plenty of time to recharge from empty.NOTES-I have a pair of similar batteries for my Sony A7IV. The NP-FW50 feels like a premium product, with a solid construction and high-quality materials. I've been using it for several weeks now, and it still looks and performs like new. It's also very lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around in my camera bag. The USB-C fast charging feature is amazing. It takes just about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. This has been particularly useful when I'm on the go and need to quickly top up the battery before heading out for another shoot.

I like to travel as light as possible, so this is the perfect way to give me an extra battery that doesn't require me to also carry around a charger to put it in. In the camera (A6400 in my case) it works just as expected and seems to have a decent capacity. Admittedly my testing wasn't exactly scientific but I haven't noticed it running out prematurely so I'm happy with it.The fact I can charge this from my phone charger while the other one is in the camera is the stand out feature for me. It's great.

Another decent battery from neewer , but this one comes with a usbc port on the battery to charge direct. Comes with a battery cover and cable , works great in my Sony A6000 and will work in assortment of Sony cameras also.I like the bright colour because, the normal black ones are easy to lose in a camera bag.

This is a good quality off brand Sony battery. It fits and works perfectly well.It doesn't appear to quite have the capacity of a similar Sony cell, which is why I'd keep it as a back up.Overall it works and represents decent value.
