Merit Retrospect L’Extrait de Parfum

I got a sample of this fragrance with some other Media items I ordered. It took a few days to “grow” on me, but now I absolutely love it. It’s very soft and sheer, and incredibly long-lasting. Now that my sample is almost gone, I came to Amazon to see if I could get it here - and I can! It will take a week, but that’s okay. My new favorite fragrance! (A few days later) My new 1 oz. bottle of Retrospect came today, and I was sooo happy to get it, the packaging is lovely but the fragrance is absolutely outstanding - warm and sheer, with basic notes of bergamot and pear to open when you first put it on. It really lasts, too, which a lot of fragrances don't. The bottle itself is a work of art - it is beautiful to look at and fits nicely in the palm of your hand, which just adds to the "wow" factor. Looks great on my vanity shelf. But, once again, it's the fragrance itself that makes me so happy. I don't think it gets much better than this when it comes to perfumes. If you feel like treating yourself, splurge on this perfume!

My teenager loves it . I enjoy the scent in the house as she’s using it . Not too strong , just right. If she wants another bottle of it , I’ll get it for her . It arrived right on time . (Christmas gift ) . Other stores had sold out.

The scent is dainty and floral, I’ve been wearing it for less than 24 hours and have already gotten multiple compliments. The bottle is a little smaller than I expected, but the design is very beautiful.

I love the smell! Super different and subtle but still lasts long and super fresh!
