Makes me feel totally secure not having a case and also helps it not wobble when on a table as a benefit (and since it's cutouts it doesn't affect the camera quality).

The best phone camera lens protectors are ones that are like this product but are already built into a phone case however if you are buying one of these you probably don't have a phone case like that.The worst lens protectors are the small individual lens caps because they will concentrate any drop force into a small point and crack your back glass.There are also the lens covers that cover the entire camera assembly that you have to take on and off or they stay on all the time and act like a lens filter.The problem with lens protectors like this one are that they tend to pop off any time you drop the phone and this one is no exception. I don't think the companies that make these types of lens protectors want to make an adhesive so strong that people would have difficulty removing them.I am considering using a denture cream like fixodent to hold this onto my phone. A more puddy like adhesive that is reversible may be just what this needs. I feel like any glue is always going to be either too strong for easy removal or too weak to stay on during a fall.So this gets 4 stars rather than 5 because I am left to figure out a working adhesive solution myself but you should know that all of the lens protectors of this type are currently like this.

As others have noted, fails to adhere properly despite proper preparation of surface. Protection that flies off is no protection at all. I’ve used other brands (not available for this model) that used much better adhesive pads. Would appreciate a spare adhesive pad or two. If seller responds I may be back to revise.

Nice design and is well made. All of the edges of the camera bump cover are chamfered and it looks like they possibly tumbled the finished product to remove any burrs and to even out the finish. The piece itself is a nice feeling, slightly heavy piece of alloy. I’m not sure what exact alloy of aluminum they used but for Al, this is on the heavier side so they use an alloy with some denser metals it in. It sits just proud of the camera lenses, so you won’t ever lay your phone down and scratch the lenses and it would also be protected from a drop. I’ll have to disagree with one reviewer that said if it ever comes loose on a drop, it doesn’t protect it. In actuality, even if it does, that means it absorbed some of the force, protecting the area it dislodged from. Unless your phone was dropped from a height where it bounces multiple times, the item would still offer some protection to the camera lenses.Instillation:Before you install this item, remove your case from your phone. Throughly clean the area it will be adhere in to with isopropyl alcohol. THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT! If you don’t clean the area with alcohol, it won’t adhere properly and will likely fall off or come off with a shock. After the area is throughly cleaned and dry, remove the backing from the 3M adhesive on the back of the lens protector. Carefully place the protector on the camera array, being sure to have it lined up properly before you press on it. Now that it’s aligned and sitting on the camera array, press with medium pressure for 30 seconds. You can now use your phone naked with some camera lens protection or put a case back on the phone.Fit & Finish:This is a very well designed and executed accessory. The 3M adhesive is good quality and with the proper surface preparation, there should be no issues with adhesion to your camera array. The metal surface has a nice finish and looks to be CNC machined out of a block of alloy. The surface finish looks to be a tumbled finish and is duper smooth. All the edges of the lens protector are chamfered to avoid any sharp corners. The manufacturer uses 3M adhesive, the decades old leader in adhesive technology.While this accessory isn’t absolutely necessary, if you want to give your phone a unique look and add a little flair with the bonus of adding a premium item (for not a premium price) to help protect your camera array from bumps and scratches, pick this up.

One piece that slide over all the lenses at once instead of the individuals. This way every time it does its job and breaks so your lens doesn’t, you can put a new one on and it’s like kevin a brand new camera. These disposable protectors keep your lenses looking good and new looking. These are designed to take the scratches that would normally affect your camera lens. So many people don’t use these and once their lens get scratched, there goes the option of taking good pictures for such a minor investment. You can have the excellent protection. And ease of mind, knowing that your lenses will always be saved if dropped on accident. These lenses are very clear and do not affect your picture taking ability one bit. Application takes seconds and is very easy and these are excellent values for the money and keeping your phone and pictures in pristine order.

I've had other lens shields on other phones and this one is, by far, the best one I've used. You can tell a lot about a product by how much thought goes into its packaging. This is an inexpensive lens shield, but the packaging is top notch (see pic), the box and instructions excellent, the shield itself in a protective soft styro pouch inside of a tabbed cardboard envelope - much more attention to detail that I expected from such a simple item. In addition, a microfiber cloth, wet wipe and dust removal stickers are also included in a second sealed envelope.The Quality carries though to the shield itself. It is substantial and perfectly machined, and each ring around the camera lenses is 1mm higher than the lens itself - not enough to impeded performance in any way, but definitely enough to add that additional protection. Finally, it uses 3M™ adhesive instead of some knockoff, so I'm confident it won't suddenly fall off. In a nutshell if you need one of these, Highly Recommended!
