Obtained as a stand-by unit!
Sadly, my wife has occasionally suffered from very high blood pressure that resulted in a two-week hospital stay while it was investigated. She bought a BP monitor that is all built in to a single unit that wraps around the arm and transmits the readings to an app on her iPhone. This was obtained for sanity checks so that, if she is not sure about a reading, she can double-check with this unit. To date, check readings have been similar to those on her main monitor. The cuff sits comfortably on the upper arm and the hose is a decent length to connect it to the base unit. Instructions and operation are easy to understand and readings can be obtained quickly. As it is not used on a regular basis, the original batteries are still in use. It does, however, have a USB connection for an external power source.

Easy to use
Simple to use, though I had to read the instructions a couple of times to be sure I'd understood the user set-up procedures. (Not a long process, it was jyst understanding which buttons to press, when.)Very easy to use, especially when you're used to it. Includes a memory function for each user (I think 2 max, from memory) so if you lose or forget to note down results you can retrieve them with a single button push. (To most recent, then keep pushing to go back further.) Battery life seems OK - I've been using it every day for about 2 weeks on first set of batteries and it's going strong (typically 3x readings per day, but occasionally 5-6 when I've had a high reading and wanted to do extra checks).I thought pulse reading was low when compared to my heart rate monitor but when I checked this device to result from medical level self-service device at doctor's surgery taken immediately before I found that Systolic, diasystolic and pulse readings were nearly identical. ((Obviously some variation as I switched between devices is to be expected.)I'm very pleased with this device. Good value for money as far as I'm concerned.

Simple and easy to use!
It provides accurate readings within seconds and is very easy to use. The digital display is clear, and the cuff is comfortable. A great device for home monitoring—highly recommended for anyone who needs to track their blood pressure regularly! It’s very simple and easy to use worth the price I paid for also I’m sure battery would last for long too.

Seems Reasonably Accurate, But No Export Facility
I currently use an Omron BP monitor, which is the brand used at my GP practice and is recognised as an accurate monitor. I was interested to see how this WAJ monitor fared as I have had mine for a decade.Instant things I noticed were how much smaller this new device is compared to mine (around half the size) and that it takes AAA batteries as opposed to the AA's in my Omron (still four of each required). It is difficult to do an exact like for like test with these two devices as you naturally have to remove one to use the other, thereby exerting yourself. However, test them I did by putting the cuff on, sitting still for 1 minute and then running three tests back-to-back, then doing the same for the other device. Using my Omron first I noted the numbers drop very slightly over the three tests. The first test on the WAJ device was very similar to the last result on the Omron, with the subsequent two tests dropping a little further. This does seem reasonable to me as I was probably slightly more relaxed at the end and my activity levels had dropped. The WAJ monitor does seem to take longer to get a result. It is also much quieter than the Omron and I like that the display changes colour based on the result so, even without looking at the numbers, you get an immediate visual representation of whether you BP is high or not. One negative is that there appears to be no way to export the results from the monitor, something I regularly do with my Omron when requested by my GP. The store page also advises that this device is MHRA registered but I cannot find any way to verify that, and the Gov.UK pages are as unhelpful as expected here. The manual mentions FCC a number of times at the back of the booklet, which I believe relates to USA products, not UK.Given the above test results I do feel this device is fairly accurate, but it is very disappointing that the results seemingly cannot be exported to a PDF or other document.

Reliable and Convenient
This blood pressure monitor is very reliable and convenient for home use. The large cuff is a plus, and the device is easy to operate. The memory function allows me to keep track of my readings, which is helpful for my doctor visits. The only minor issue is that the device can be a bit slow to display the results, but overall, it's a great product.

Great way to monitor blood pressure - poor battery life
This does what its supposed to do. Easily monitor blood pressure and keeps a memory of recent reads. the screen is easy to read and it seems to be accurate when compared to my other unit. The only downside is that the AAA batteries dont seem to last long at all. After just over 2- readings they had to be replaced.
