Great Scooter, Awesome Value, UPS Stinks
Awesome scooter! A little short in the handlebars, but lightweight. Smooth ride. Great features. The product is good but the delivery process was awful. It was not communicated -AT ALl- this item would require a signature for delivery. I only learned this after I received a message that there was a “failed” delivery attempt when it was expected. UPS has horrendous customer service. They blamed the lack of notification on the sender. After 6 separate calls, wasting hours of my time, and getting inaccurate information every call, and two “failed” delivery attempts despite the fact someone was home both times, we finally got it. If I’d missed a third, I would’ve had to trek somewhere inconvenient and pick it up or return to sender, so I was forced to basically sit out front for three hours the following day to make sure I caught the delivery person. Only call UPS if you enjoy being lied to and toyed with. Their customer “service” delights in condescending you, giving you a hard time, and disappointing children above actually doing a good job. My son’s last scooter broke, and he was really excited for this. Got it a day later than expected due to the nonsense. It would’ve been really nice to know ahead of time that I needed to have someone available for the delivery instead of learning it the very hard and aggravating way. Also it won’t power on while plugged into the charger. It’s a nice safety feature but it took us a while to figure out if it was charged enough. We were trying to hit the power button to see the electronic display but the screen wouldn’t come on while charging. This scooter has adjustable modes but is capable of going pretty fast. At the lowest mode, my son was really zipping.

Great Scooter for City Commuting, but Could Be a Bit Smoother
Great Scooter for City Commuting, but Could Be a Bit SmootherI recently bought the ZD01 Electric Scooter for my daily commute, and it’s been a solid performer. The 500W peak motor is plenty powerful for city riding, and I can easily hit 19 mph, which is fast enough to get around without feeling like I’m speeding. The 12-15 mile range works perfectly for my daily commute, and I haven’t had to worry about recharging mid-day.The scooter is lightweight and folds up easily, making it super convenient for storing it at home or bringing it inside at work. The 8.5" solid tires are low-maintenance, but they do make the ride a little bumpier, especially on rougher roads. A bit more suspension would make it more comfortable on uneven pavement, but it’s manageable. The E-Lock and E-Horn are nice features for added security and convenience. The lock gives me peace of mind when I leave it parked outside, and the horn is surprisingly loud when I need to alert someone while riding. The only thing I’d improve is the ride comfort on rough terrain—solid tires are great for maintenance, but they don’t provide much shock absorption. Also, it could have a bit more power for steeper inclines, as it struggles a little when going uphill with my weight on it.Overall, it’s a great scooter for commuting short to medium distances. It’s fun to ride, easy to store, and reliable for getting around the city. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable electric scooter to make commuting more convenient!

Bomb of luxury in a stand up scooters!
The media could not be loaded. Can you tell by all my pics & video that I love, love this scooter? we have a couple of others and still needed another one to go camping and let all the kids have one to ride, so we ordered this one as well. In the video and pictures, it is my 78-year-old father who is a good sport for all sorts of my review pictures.I didn’t actually realize all of the extra cool features on this one when I place the order, but we were delighted to discover them upon assembly and first use! I'll go through it below:First, this was so super simple to ‘assemble’. I had to connect the handle bars & secure with screws, then attach the kickstand with screws & I had already charged it up; now it was time to cruise!First turning onHolding the power button for 3 seconds turns the scooter on. You need to unlock it: 0-0-0-0 is the default unlock for it to operate. I do suggest changing it to make theft /use by thieves harder. As we were ready to ride something rme & my Dad by surprise. He turned the throttle to go forward and it didn’t move. It was by chance he realized you need to give it a bit a scoot first. Either a little kick of motion or he started it while going down the driveway & then the throttle worked great! It has CRUISE CONTROL!!!!I am so excited about that because one of the campgrounds we go to is strict on speed limit and is huge with winding roads. I prefer the kids look out infront of themselves to ride vs worrying about speed or throttle adjustments.I also found that the standing platform on this, compared to our other stand-up scooter, is wider and just feels better for my wobbly -deer body. The whole unit is easier for me to keep my balance and feel stable on while riding than our other stand up ones and I’m claiming this for my use when the kids aren’t messing around.Folding down it’s very sturdy to carry - a bit heavier than the last one I bought, but not very much & so very worth it to have a wider more stable stand up scooter that even their Mom will ride! The battery charges up pretty quick and in Eco & Standard modes lasts a long time.I don’t use sport mode because I don’t need it to speed up any faster!!
