This bike was well worth it’s money & my little one loves it. Gears were a little stiff at first but once they start being used, they shift easy. Very sturdy bike & looks good. Some minor building to do - fit front wheel, pedals & handle bars. Not difficult.My daughter is a small 5 but a confident rider.

I bought this bike for my daughter's 7th birthday. She is on the small side for her age and even with the seat on it's lowest setting it was only just ok for her to ride. I'm not worried about that though...she will grow! As usual with these kind of 6 speed bikes the gear change is very difficult for little hands. Twisting the handle forwards is almost do-able but twisting it backwards to change back is nearly impossible for my daughter. This means she either spends all the time riding in one gear or we all have to stop so someone can help her change gear. It's not even that easy for adult hands! Hopefully over time and with more use it will ease up. It is a smart looking bike, my daughter loves the colour and feels very grown up riding it, so i would recommend it but be aware of the troublesome gear change.
