Useful but weak
This would be great for a lightweight digicam but has a hard time or fails to hold up a full size camera with vintage brass lens. Still useful. Will probably hold my dummy zv-e10 once i repair the lightweight kit lens. Can somewhat compensate by splooting the legs out wide with heavy lenses. Use timer for hands-off still shots

Good basic support for a small point and shoot
If you are looking for something that is about the size of a bic pen and can hold a light point and shoot camera, this will meet that need. I use mine when I am on vacation and just want to have some form of support for a long exposure shot or I want to set my self timer and jump into the shot. If there is a wall, trash can or other flat surface around, I will tend to use that, but there are times when you need support that can just sit on the ground.I found that one of the legs was less "stiff" than the other two and that can make adjustment a bit more difficult, but not terrible. For the price, this has afforded me a few good shots that I would have missed otherwise - not a big cost in $ or in pocket space, so fits the bill.

Suitable for compact cameras
From reading other reviews, I see some had the expectation that this tripod's legs might be flexible enough to wrap around something. They will not. What you get is a small tripod suitable for, as the description states, compact cameras/camcorders. This product is not compatible with a big DSLR camera, for instance. You wouldn't trust a $4 tripod to hold a big, expensive camera anyway. But you certainly get at least what you pay for with this product. It fits a standard tripod mount and can support a small camera. It also makes a nice handle when attached to a small camera, I've found.

It's small!!
I had one of these for many years that I purchased in Japan. Loved it but lost it eventually. I'm sure it will support my Sony mirrorless camera with no problem as the last one supported an SLR just fine. The legs stay where you put them.

Just What I Wanted
This little tripod does just what it is supposed to do, support cameras and camcorders.I didn't need a full-sized tripod and this one could never be confused as one of those. It holds your device about four inches above whatever surface its on and stows in your kit so well you may not see it when you first look in. I wouldn't put a heavy device on it.There's a pocket clip like on a ballpoint pen and a non-marring rubbery material at the base of the mounting screw. The legs hold whatever position you put them in.It's a good buy and well made.

Meh
Meh. I had a mini tripod just like this one before but lost it. The legs on this one, compared to the old one, do not really hold the shape that well when you bend them, so if you want to use this mini tripod to have it hold your gopro or smaller camera by wrapping its legs around the pole or something round it simply won't work.

Great tripod for cameras or Petcube
I love these little tripods! They are great for taking pictures when traveling. Most cameras have an opening on the bottom to attach this tripod to. I also use these tripods for my Petcube Camera so I can angle it down towards the floor. Very versatile and small to carry in your pocket or bag.

this one is not great at all
Couple things wrong with this. I actually bought this because someone I know has a Canon version that comes in a kit. Comparing to that version, this one is not great at all. The legs don't actually flex - they bend to a point and snap back. The "ball" footing on one of the legs popped off and disappeared during one of my excursions, so now the whole thing is useless. If you're just looking for a tripod that doesn't really need to flex / move much and will get gentle use, this will work perfectly. If you're looking for a tripod that will get heavier use that needs to have actual flexible legs, definitely look for something else - this will not work.
