Would this work for a real AR 15 that shoots 223?

Not .223 or 5.56mm. It will hold zero with .22lr though. I have a CMMG conversion bolt that drops right in and turns a standard AR-15 into an AR-22. Talk about saving money on ammo, being able to shoot places that the thunder crack of 5.56 would get the cops called, and the wife actually enjoys shooting it. And this fake PEQ-15 will actually hold zero-ish. Beats paying $1500 for a real one.
