Bought to charge a Nexus 7 2012 and smartphone. It only charged the Nexus 7 at about half the speed of the OEM charger and an Anker charger. Kensington support said the item was faulty but I suspect compatibility issues. Either way, it didn't work properly and was therefore useless. Returned for refund.

Bought one of these power adopters over 15 months ago and it charges everything. So good, when in the airport a few months back, I bought another.Why 1 star ?The product has worked well until last week, I removed the UK plug adapted from a hotel socket and the earth pin stayed in the socket. When I examined the plug I noticed that the pain was hollow this looks like a manufacturing fault. I contacted Kensington firstly via their website and then over the telephone.The lady informed me that she could not assist me without proof of purchase. I explained that I had bought it in an airport and have retained the receipt. She said she would have to contact her manager and would advise me later. Two days later I was told nothing can be done without a receiptThe UK adapter is now useless. The cost of replacing the small adapter is pence but can't be bought separately. Bin. I will not now by another Kensington product ever. The customer service leaves much to be desired.Avoid !
