Columbia Men's SANTIAM 3 STRAP Sandal

Bought these for my hubby to replace his merrells. Due to lockdown and limited options to shop, I decided to try amazon. After reading through a load of reviews we decided on these. He is a size 7 so bought a 7 and they fit exactly. However, if you wear socks with your sandals (and I'm not judging) you may need a size bigger. He says they are comfortable, nicely cushioned, and fit well. The strap over the front of the foot is a little bit narrower than he's used to, on other brands there is usually a neoprene layer beneath it, but these have the adjustable strap only, but, so far, it isn't an issue with the functionality or comfort of the sandal. The insole is material rather than rubber, which he thinks so far is a positive thing, especially if his feet get wet from rain ect, then he won't have that squelchy slippage within the sandal itself. The sole is a nice sticky grippy rubber. We don't do any extreme trekking or fell walking anymore, so these will be used on holidays, in the sun, walking along proms, beaches, general mooching and exploring our surroundings. I think these will do nicely for what he needs. Good value for money.

Great sandal I can see lasting ages. Really comfortable. I’m a 7.5UK. Got a 7 and an 8 and 7 was perfect. Only downside was strap closest to toes could be longer. Was a bit short and shows Velcro. Otherwise no complaints.

I hike rough and rocky trails in boots. For everything else in dry weather I use sandals. They need to be comfortable, tough, and with good non-slip soles. If they look good, so much the better. Over the years I've worn Merrells, Tevas, and Karrimors, and I think these might just be the best I've ever worn.NOTE: I have long but narrow and shallow feet and I tried on numerous pairs from other brands before settling on these Columbias. They were the ONLY ONES that enabled me to tighten the main strap sufficiently.I've had them for a month now and hiked maybe 40 miles. I can't fault them.

just what I was looking for to replace a similar pair bought ages ago and mislaid on holiday. The same very flexible sole, non-slip cushioning, strong suede straps, and the sizing was exact to the millimetre with the chart on the product page, and the label inside the sandal. Made in Vietnam and good value for money.

I wanted sandals to replace the excellent pair I bought 10 years ago. These have an identical sole to what I had before, which is ideal for grip, including in and out of water. They are comfortably contoured to the foot, and though only 2 rather than 3 straps, the side strap renders them just as stable. I am very pleased to see they’ve not messed up what was an already first rate product.How did my old pair last the pace? They were only used about 3 weeks a year in holidays, but the soles stood up great. The tip of the soles were starting to come away (but could easily have been reglued) and the padding had compacted somewhat. But that’s not bad over a decade, used mainly for fell walking.

Lighter than the previous Ventmeister, possibly because of less material and a thinner sole. Comfortable although one foot took a little breaking in. All walks have been less than 5 miles so far. Bought because of the arch support which is very important doe to plantar fasciitis. My previous pair lasted 20 years so I am looking for a long life from these.

They are great Sandals and have bought previously, but the main strap on the these was far too short and had to return very sadly.

Columbia shoes never disappoint. Perfect fit as expected and very comfortable. The inner sole feels very nice and sort of cozy. Great experience so far.

back strap broke after only six months of normal use

Leider kein guter Halt für die verformten Füße meines Opas, aber es sind auch keine Orthopädische Schuhe!Super schick und gute Qualität. Grds hätten wir sie gerne behalten, mussten sie aber durch die verformten Füße zurücksenden. Leider :(Würden wir für normale Füße definitiv nochmal bestellen !

Comodidad sobre todo, buen agarre del pie, las cintas cierran bien y son de calidad, el unico problema es que la suela al ser de piel hace que sobre todo al principio huelan los pies hasta que la piel se curte del uso, pero en general un producto de calidad como todo en Columbia.

Los primeros días puede que algunos bordes rocen la piel, pero una vez el pie acostumbrado es un placer caminar con ellas.
