Excellent mess tins
Arrived in perfect condition, no dents etc. I've got loads of alcohol stoves and cup, pots, pans, but fancied giving these a good & I'm very pleased with them. Seasoned them with rapeseed oil, like you would with cast iron. Work really well. Good size for 1-2 people. They're slightly thicker than some, which I like tbh, as the thing ones burn the food quickly and don't last very long. I found them easy to clean. Handles don't get hot, obviously, as they're long. Great for camping, or backpack trips, as you can fit a fair bit in them, then nest the two. Excellent value for money imo. Highly recommend this 👍🏻

Bought for Cadets
I bought these mess tins as the ones at det are bit manky. The mess tins work as intended and are the same size as cadet issued ones. They heat up water for your rat packs just fine and all my meals have been hot when eating them on camps. They are thinner than issued mess tins but work the same and don’t rattle as much which is always a bonus on ftx.

Much better quality than anticipated
As title suggests, a better quality than I anticipated and very close to military issue thickness. Other than what, whats more to say about a set of mess tins, both fit together as expected and pretty well made. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more if need be.

Cheap mess tin for a few trips out
Cheap and handy for a few bits of cooking but don't forget your oil if doing meat on it.
