When it comes to knives in the kitchen, you generally get what you pay for. These are expensive, but they won't let you down. Don't be tempted to put them in the dishwasher unless you want to trash them. Likewise, use an appropriate chopping surface. With the right care, they will give a lifetime of service.

I have a set of Robert Welch knives which I've had for a long time. They are very sharp and easy to handle. I bough two knives for each of my daughters and they also love them. Sharp knives need handling with care but because they are sharp you tend not to cut yourself as often. Just remember to cut on a chopping board.
