2.0" Stainless Steel Butt Joint Exhaust Seal Band Clamp

I used this clamp to repair a broken flagpole that snapped off the lower section at the reducer with the extreme cold and high winds here in Pennsylvania on Christmas Eve 😢.I used the 2" clamp, it perfectly repaired the pole, install was super easy and made the pole stronger than it originally was without looking tacky or out of place.Definitely a think outside the box solution using repurposed automotive part and a cost effective repair compared to cost of purchasing and labor associated with installing a new flagpole.If someone is ever in a situation like me with a broken flagpole, give this a try, works well.

I used this to repair a rusted through weld from proximal exhaust pipe to muffler. The mating surfaces were irregular so it didn’t completely seal at no fault of the clamp. I used permatex exhaust sealer with the clamp and I have a solid leak-free repair for under $20. I like how the clamp breaks down so you can install over existing pipe and welds.

I bought a swivel desk chair a few years ago. The Tube surrounding the cylinder split-making it wobbly & scary to sit in. This Clamp fit perfectly, and when tightened, fixed the chair, saving me $$. It might work on car exhaust also!

Great, solid products.

I had a hard time getting this band clamp to seal two pipes of the same outside diameter. The band material is somewhat thin and it barely fit over the advertised diameter pipe, leaving a gap at the clamping area. Using an impact gun and muffler paste, I eventually was able to get an ok seal, but ultimately discarded this clamp in favor of heavier duty type of clamp.I think this product would be more effective on a slip-fit type of pipe joint.

Not sure how long the metal will stay but was simple fix for tail pipe to exhaust pipe. Installed in five minutes. Would have been quicker if I gathered all tools before starting project.

Great butt joint! It is stainless steel but very thin, I thought it would not hold, but I was wrong, it did hold , I torqued it pretty good, all the way almost. It did a great job joining 2 inch exhaust pipes, no complains here. Seller did good also, it came on time and with no problems.

Does not have a good seal better off with a soup can and a couple hose clamps. When I ordered said next day it did not took a week to show up when I contacted Amazon they said there was nothing they could do then hung up on me
