Unless you are a borrower, this star is too small for a Christmas tree. To be fair it does say its suitable for mini Christmas trees, and the other reviews also show how small it is, but I didn't put a lot of thought into this purchase, assuming that for 6 quid I would get something big enough to be seen without binoculars.

This star is very small, (smaller than a pen), so would be best suited to a tiny desktop tree, unlike those pictured in the description. It is a thick plastic and quite sturdy, with a nice small glitter coating. The inside is big enough to mount on a mini tree. Very nice but not the best value for its size.

I got this tree topper as I'm planning on getting a small table top Christmas tree which this topper is ideal for as it's quite small and lightweight. The measurements in the pictures are slightly off (see photo) which is a non-issue but thought I'd mention it. The width of the star is 10cm and the height from the hollow base to the top of the star is 11cm. The hollow base has an opening of 1cm so it's perfect for thin branches. The advertised pictures don't do the star justice as it looks better in person, much more sparkly (see my photo) especially when the light catches it.
