Perfect for oil sketching
Great set of oil paints from which you can mix almost all the colours you encounter. The pigment is saturated and the consistency is great. The set is ideal for oil sketching as you won't need to overburden yourself with multiple tubes.

Beautiful paints - smooth, easy to apply but expensive. More for professionals than beginners.

The only brand I need
I purchased the basic set of 6, and found that I can mix most of the colors I need with just that set. It mixes well with the other brands that I've been using. However, Michael Harding oil paints are superior to the other brands I have. The pigment doesn't separate from the oil, there are no fillers that I can detect because the color hue remains constant from application to drying on the canvas. The opaque colors are true. I'm very pleased. Will purchase them again !

Very vibrant
My first set of oils having moved on from acrylics. Couldn't be more pleased. I add a touch of linseed oil to thin just a tad. Really lovely to work with. Very smooth. A little goes a long way. The colors and pigment load are exceptional. Highly recommend.
