It came without a wrapper or seal. I could tell it’s new though. I like the short ingredient list since it reduces the chance of allergies and sensitivities. Some notable ingredients are Peptides, Bakuchiol, Niacinamide, Squalane, and Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR). Although niacinamide is a star ingredient, there are many people who are sensitive to it. It’s best to do a skin/patch test with every new skincare product. Peptides are a retinoid alternative that's very popular right now. Bakuchiol is another.I have never heard of HPR (aka Granactive) so I had to do some reading. This is what I found online: “HPR or hydroxypinacolone retinoate is an ester of retinoic acid (tretinoin; medically prescribed retinoid). There is a suggestion that HPR is as powerful as prescribed retinoids, without the unwanted side effects such as flaking, skin irritation & redness.” “Research has proven that this retinoic acid ester provides skin both anti-aging and blemish-reducing benefits.“The serum is a pale yellow color, non-sticky, non-oily, non-pilling, lightweight/thin lotion consistency, moisturizing, absorbent, easy to spread and apply, and fragrance-free. I’m testing it on my forehead right now since I’m less sensitive there. I do it for at least one week before I apply it all over my face. I’m cautious due to past experiences. The serum was made in the USA with global ingredients. I don’t see the expiration date. So far I like the formula. Not only does it contain retinol alternatives, but a gentle relatively new retinoid that’s supposedly effective. I also like that it’s not packed with a billion ingredients. I am excited to continue using this serum. I will update my review in the future.

Skinovation RET Radiance Moontime Serum comes in a pump style bottle with 1 oz of product. Retinol is popular but some folks can’t use it and this product seems to have several alternatives for it such as Bakuchiol, Matrixyl 3000 peptides, 2% Granactive Retinoid and Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate. That’s like every retinol alternative I’ve ever heard of. They’re really covering their bases. It also has those ingredients for moisturizing - Squalane, Glycerin, Niacinamide. It’s got a solid resumé, if you will, by way of its ingredients list. Its transparent that they have the full ingredients list right up top of this listing. It’s fragrance free and alcohol free. Meant to be applied as part of your night skin regime before bedtime or moontime as they call it lol. Made in USA.

This serum comes in an interesting pump, where you twist the top part in order for the pump to rise from the top, then pump what you need, and retwist for the pump to descend. I like the texture of the serum. It's thick enough that it is easy to apply, but far thinner than a lotion. It rubs in easily, dries very quickly, and leaves no sticky residue at all. I love that the ingredients are gentle on the skin. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, which smells kind of like seaweed, but thankfully the scent is mild and doesn't last long.

i don't normally use anything during night time. or moon time whatever you call it. But as i age I think it is a good idea to take care your skin esp when you spend too much time under the sun. this product works great even with a limited time of usage. I can already feel the difference. Recommend.
