A good sonic cleaner is a fantastic tool to have in your thrifting repertoire. And as a lapidary I also use them for cleaning polishing compound out of crystal vugs or micro cracks on some of my stone pieces. I ordered this one when my $15 one finally wore out, and it's a significant step up.Setup is dead simple. The power cord plugs into the back, and there's a power switch right above where the cord plugs in. Then knobs on the front to set heat and time. Couldn't be simpler!I put two pairs of thrifted sunglasses and a pretty but dirty piece of rock in here for my first use, and I was blown away at how much more powerful this is than my cheap one!It is a little loud, but that's probably to be expected of a massive chunk of vibrating stainless. The heat function worked perfectly, and the timer was accurate. My pieces came out with all visible gunk gone, and ready to use! The rock specimin had a bunch of dirt packed into delicately textured crystals, and while it took more than 1 ride through this to get the stone clean, it did ultimately come away looking like a museum specimen too! (I did soak it with some iron-dissolving solution between washes to achieve that.)All in all, this is a huge step up from what I've used before. It performs like the ones at jewelry stores at a fraction of the price!

As others have stated, this little cleaner works very well, but it is a lot louder than I expected it to be. I've used it to clean gunky carburetor parts, and I've used it to clean the hard water deposits from the valves in my sinks. Worked like a charm. I'd recommend it, but just be aware of the noise level.

I have owned many ultrasonic cleaners in my life. I have big and small ones (for jewelry and glasses), but I wanted something in between. This 2L one seemed perfect. When I unpacked it, I could not believe the quality. This is a super high-quality professional cleaner. You can tell this from the build quality, packaging, and documentation. It comes with a removable power cable, basket with stowaway handles, lid, and, of course, the unit. You turn it on by using the timer knob, and you can heat it to 110C max. This is confusing because water boils at 100C, so maybe this is if you have some particular cleaning solution that can withstand higher temps? I like to keep things around 60-70C because I don't want to damage the items or melt any plastic. The unit heats up fast, but I like to shortcut it by filling the tank with warm water from the tap and putting in a few drops of dishwashing liquid. I used to have a bottle of "specialty" cleaning solution that I'll test out next. I've found the machine helpful in cleaning items that are hard to reach, such as in the crevices of coffee mug tops. I'd highly recommend this unit.

The Vevor Sonic Cleaner arrived well packaged, and included all of the parts pictured. It shows good, solid build quality. The reservoir, baskets and lid are all stainless steel, and the knobs are firm and precise, with no slop or backlash.This is our first ultrasonic cleaner, so we supplemented the included directions with several YouTube videos for a better understanding of best practices. We used distilled water with a few drops of Dawn dish soap in our 3L model, and that combination worked well. Our most impressive results were to a very fine silver chain that had gotten "gummy" and prone to kinks over the years. After 10 minutes, it came out silky smooth and so much more flexible. Some items didn't clean as well as expected, but we will continue to experiment with temperature, time, and soap. You really get an understanding of how much crud is removed from your items when you wipe out the reservoir after a cleaning session.

The cheap plastic fitting on the drain hose leaked immediately and had to be replace with a matching brass fitting to prevent leakage.

I'm trying to minimize chemicals in my home so this made sense for cleaning jewelry and the 3 liter size also lets me do small objects and my toothbrushes. I set this to run as I'm leaving since I don't need to listen to it. The timer is automatic shut off so I come home and my jewelry is nice and clean. It takes more room than the little plastic jars with solution and trays but this will last much longer and no concerns about chemicals or the liquid evaporating since this can clean with just water. It's cleaned silver necklaces that have been tarnished for years.

The Vevor ultrasonic cleaner comes in seven sizes from 2L to 30L. I got the 3L which measures about10 1/2" L x 6 1/2" W x 8 7/8" T. The basket insert measures about 8 1/2" L x 4 1/2 W x 2 1/2" d. The unit has two controls on the front, one for temperature (30 to 110 degrees F) and the other for run time up to 30 minutes. There is a master on/off switch on the back and the housing is stainless steel, with handle inserts on each end.You can fill the tank with water, soapy mix or cleaners. You also place cleaners solutions in plastic containers or old jars and insert them into the water bath. The ultrasound will easy pass through the water, through the plastic and work with the cleaner solutions. In addition, the unit also comes with a stainless steel ball case for small items.I like the full stainless steel housing, the temperature control, the time control and the quality build of the unit. Test the units heater with a thermometer showed a very accurate temperature control.
