Battery area had a loose spring that connects the battery. The other item I ordered is good. This one was defective. Will be returning - fire hazard. Be sure to check before leaving on.

Looks festive and nice for the holidays

This little Christmas Village Is cute but very lightweight. It appears to be made of balsa wood so I suggest handling it with care and storing it safely. I purchased this as a decoration, not realizing that it is an ornament too. Thus, I guess the light weight is necessary for hanging. My bad for not paying better attention to the description. However, it is cute, lights up (batteries not included) and is reasonably priced. It’s just not what I expected.
