I liked this saber as a replica. It has a heavy handle and works well.

Edit: the light/sound module stopped working. This has mainly sat on a desk, rarely used, but my son went to turn it on today and it would not turn on. Battery is fully charged, but button doesn’t work at all. Huge disappointment. My son purchased this with his own money. It is HEAVY and feels like a high quality item. There are RGB LEDs down the entire blade which give it some cool effects with the motion controls. It is powered with an 18650 battery which should power it for a good while between charges. This is important because even though it charges with a USB C connector, you need to remove the end of the grip with an Allen key, and pull out the battery module to charge it which is the only negative I have seen so far.

First off: the instructions are unclear. Don't twist, it's solid metal. Flick/twist your wrist quickly while holding it to change colors and turn it on and off from sleep. Second: your index finger will get injured until you learn to hold it properly. This was a secret Santa gift I got for a coworker and I'm seriously considering keeping it. It is a lot of fun to play with. The multiple colors are a nice choice if limited and the sound effects are fun but the "power on/off" is louder than it needs to be so I wish there was a setting for that. Weight is nice but it is actually heavier than my samurai sword which surprised me but the balance is good. Packaging is frail so it looked liked it was returned and resold at first but I see a lot of people received the same packaging. It is solid metal so maybe use more durable packing material. All and all it was a good purchase for a decent price so I recommend it!

Firstly, while most lightsabers are aluminum, this one is steel and is pretty heavy. Like many others, mine arrived used. The sound was ok but pretty distorted. The blade fits in well enough but the colors are strange, with some of the themes it will seem like something is wrong. After about an hour of playing with it it will make sense. They all have different “flourishes” that make it seem broken. Unfortunately the “darksaber” setting does not work. No lights come on at all. The lights will come on sporadically as you swing it, but not while you hold it steady. After a few light hits with another lightsaber the blade stopped working all-together. Had to take it out and put it back in for it to work again. Also, the design of the hand-guard is absolutely custom made to punish you for having a pointer finger. It digs in a way that is not necessarily painful, but just very uncomfortable.

The blade and decent and the hilt is a good design however I was not given anything else, no charger, no Allen wrench, and no manual. The controls of the blade are not good, sense you can’t just hold the button down to turn it off and on, it only works to turn it on. The blade is be very loud and sense I have no manual I do not know if it is possible to turn it down or if it is always just loud. The smaller box inside, holding the hilt was damaged. Would not recommend buying note: Everything in the first photo was what I was given
