I'm aware there is a special adhesive especially for rear view mirrors but it's expensive and usually just enough for only one application. With this, I was able to attach my rear view mirror and have plenty left over for other things. It is holding very well and the mirror is tight. I prefer two individual tubes of epoxy instead of the syringe. This comes with a mixing tube that attaches to the end of the syringe. You will only use it once. After using it the epoxy inside the tube will harden and you'll never get it out. The expoxy inside the tube is wasted. You will do better to throw away the mixing tube and apply equal parts of epoxy on a piece of cardboard and mix it with a wooden toothpick. The product is excellent. I just don't like the syringe it comes in.
