It really is big and wide, which is what I need, so that the things I am cutting or chopping don't go off the board. But I did not realize that it is thin like it is basically a sheet of metal. I may have missed that in the description, I don't know. But what I do not like is that it is beginning to show some cut marks made by my knife. Maybe my knife is just too sharp, I don't know as well. But I wasn't expecting to see some cut marks as early as now. I have been just using this for a few weeks.
