Works well for cooling but not freezing.
Was able to test this during our family camp out. Plugged it on the wall to get it to temp before transferring to the car socket during the 3-hour ride, then plugging it into our power station on location. Whilst it did keep everything nice and cool, it didn't manage to freeze our liquids that we wanted to have frozen, even though the temp was already set and maintained at -8 degrees whilst on the wall, in the car and on the power station. It is great at keeping everything else nice and cool but freezing in our particular unit was a bust. Giving it a 3-star for now and returning this particular product.
