I wanted a box cutter that was unique. This is the best I found. I am a chef. I carry and use a box cutter all day. I like this one a lot: It is small, fits neatly in my apron. I like the way more of the cutting edge is exposed, as opposed to others where only half of the blade is available. I like the satisfying way it opens and closes on bearings..very smooth. I like the donut pattern! My coworkers are jealous. I am a bit concerned about losing the provided tool to change the blade....I would only need a little pliers, but it is a small downside compared to others that have quick releases for the blades. I would likely buy it again over other styles. They should make more designs besides american flag and donuts....

I wanted to stop using my pocket knife for cutting cardboard and switch to a proper utility knife for box-cutting tasks. The OKNIFE Otacle U1 is exactly what I was looking for. It feels great in the hand, with a solid build and excellent ergonomics. The green micarta scales look fantastic out of the box—and once they picked up a bit of hand oil, the color really came to life.Blade changes are quick and easy using the included tool, and I love the one-handed operation—just pull down the blade lock and flip it out with a smooth, satisfying motion. It’s sturdy, stylish, and functional. No box is safe in its presence!

This has been my Every Day Carry for almost a year, and I love it. Survived an accidental trip through the washing machine without issue, just added a bit more grease to it. Very easy to grab and open, with easy swap for the blades as long as you have either the tool or a pair of pliers handy. Really easy to hold, and the safety has yet to fail on me. If you plan on using to cut a lot of cardboard boxes, I would recommend getting serrated replacement blades like I did, otherwise the one included is plenty sharp and should last a good while.

This is a nicely made utility knife. I love the micarta handles, the axis lock keeps the blade securely in place, and unlike most utility razors I own you have access to the entire edge of the blade, not just the front point, so you can use it to slice as well as cut. My only real beef is that the handle is very small - it just barely covers the blade. The first time I was swinging it closed my palm got in the way and it bit me - HARD! Lesson learned - this is a tool, not a toy. If you like fidgeting with your axis lock knives, do it with another knife and save this one for work. And close it with 2 hands!

I love this thing! Very light weight, carbon fiber feels great in the hand. Deep carries in the pocket, 90% of the blade is exposed for cutting. Didn't come with the little tool for loosening the thumbscrew for blade replacement but it’s not a dealbreaker. Still 5 stars.

Bought as a gift for my uncle. He liked it and i did too. Came with 550 lanyard and tool. Build was solid. Nice size for a utility, not a full grip but enough. I like the tool less blade change option.

Super great small knife that allows you to really crank down on the fastening screw to keep blade from typical wobble you get from simple lock mechanism. I tie the cord to the lock and unlock wrench but you may be able to put it on a key chain or carbiner for easier carry and no tail, it is smaller tho you will not get all 4 fingers around the handle

Very nice utility knife, this was my 2nd one ive bought, I use it daily and cut corrugated, strip wire, open packages, and sharpen pencils. Very high quality, and having extra expose to the apex of the blade is a big plus at times. Not for everyone you do need to be a little extra careful with more blade exposed but all in all its very well made, good size, and ill probably buy more.
