Perfect for 1080p 60fps
After a few months of use, I can write a review. Does the job, the audio in order to be captured forced me to use a aux cable from my headphones (Steelseries Arctis 7), to the device. Quality wise, I would say is very good for what it is, the picture quality does 1080p at 60fps without any hiccups. One thing that I was not expecting is, in case of the usb is not being powered on, the monitor does not turn on. I use my desktop for the games and the laptop for the recording. Overall I give a solid 9/10.

Better than I expected, highly recommend.
Installed this today (11 hours ago) and in all honesty it performs as well as anything I have used so far. The picture quality is good as is the frame rate, I tested streaming at 1080 @ 60 fps and it was spot on with virtually zero latency on the capture versus the monitor, the output sound fed nicely into an external speaker, which I normally use a HDMI audio extractor box for, with ease (PS5 has no external audio output so users of monitors suffer unless using a dedicated headset.) My old laptop saw it as USB 2.0 instead of 3.0, however, changing the laptop to pc and my usual laptop both saw 3,0 no problem, ( it is the old laptop at fault, no USB 3.0). Be sure that if you need a longer USB connection then use a good USB cable or USB extension cable rated for USB 3.0. I tried it with recording a 2 hour DVD I made earlier in the year as though recording a film and with OBS studio it was flawless, a perfect copy. This is perfect for any gamer to record or stream play, and with the mic/sound connections its a breeze to add your personal audio to the stream directly. 4K at 30 fps is more than enough for streaming but overkill in my opinion, 1080 at 60 is the norm for that task. I will be adding a second to my collection if this stands the heavy testing over the next weeks. First impressions, I highly recommend this as a budget buy for the quality of the results.

Great features for the price
I think you get a lot for your money with this device, and it's a step above the basic HDMI capture 'dongles' I've seen lately. What sets it apart is the addition of HDMI passthrough, so you can display the video you're capturing on a second monitor while capturing it on your computer. This is great if you're streaming games as it reduces a lot of the latency of trying to play a game via a captured stream. Plug it in and it functions just like a webcam, which means that you can use it without any drivers on a PC, Mac and Linux. It's very easy to set up and use. It also has a headphone out and microphone input, so you can listen to the audio from the video and record commentary at the same time. I should add that it's not really a high end product though. First up, it only captures at 4K30 Hz, although it can capture at 1080p 60Hz, which is a better choice for game streaming. The capture quality is fine, but it's not going to compete with higher end brand-name devices for quality and latency, but as a low cost starting point, it's a great option.
