Took the handel off. Added extentions for the supports. I added a bracket to steady the supports, but I'm Happy with the final setup.

The idea is great and would probably work well but the side legs are too short for a lowe boat. Puts the ladder at a slant

I bought this to use on our 2070 Lowe Roughneck when we swim at the lake.It's easy to assemble and very sturdy. My husband cut and welded the hand rail to make the support legs a little longer bc with our model of boat, the legs were too short and it made the ladder slanted.Only cons are: I didnt pay attention to how wide the ladder rungs are and they're only wide enough to put one foot on and also hurt your feet when getting into the boat.Overall happy with our purchase and made it much easier to get into our boat!

Not helpful for what it cost. To narrow. Also no matter how you adjust the ladder it is at a bad angle. The ladder ends up pushing under the boat when you put your weight on it because it lifts the other side up.

Very easy to install and seems very sturdy. The ladder makes it much easier to get in and out of the boat while loading/unloading the boat. I am 72 years old and haven't used my boat much this year because it's so hard to get in/out. Now I intend to do some fishing because of the ease of getting in/out of the boat thanks to the ladder.

Getting in the boat after swimming was not fun and most hook ladders are too wide for a metal gunwale. This is perfect for my 16 foot Dura Nautical

handy piece of equipment for those of us that aren't as limber as we once were. have used this in water up to 3 feet deep and it makes climbing into my 16 foot duck boat a breeze. seems robust enough to withstand the rigors that equipment faces in the duck marsh. steps are a little narrow for my size 14 boot but not enough to give bad review.
