It’s Okay…
I used Nair years ago and it didn’t work for me and started to irritate my skin. When I found out they had a sensitive skin formula I had to try it. This version is okay, it did break out my legs a little bit on my first use and I have some dark marks on my legs now, but the second use went perfectly without any breakouts. It only works on legs for me. When used on my armpits and bikini line hair barely came off and I had to shave it instead.

Works, but I’m disappointed.
It’s nair, so obviously hair was successfully removed, and it genuinely didn’t bother my extremely sensitive skin. Beyond that, though, I’m pretty disappointed with what I received. Not only did I not receive the bottle with the pump shown in the product images (by the way using this with a standard bottle means nair gets all over the bottle when you need more in your hands), nor did I get the super handy sponge I saw comments mentioning (yes, you CAN use a washcloth, but there’s a reason there’s a special sponge for removing the hair). There’s also just no reason for me to spend $8.34 on this again. I can get the exact bottle I received, with no sponge or pump, at Walmart for a cheaper price, and probably an off-brand version with both of those things for $8 or less at a place like Dollar General. Would it have the convenience of Amazon Prime? No. But at least I’d be receiving exactly what’s being marketed to me.

I love it so much!!
There’s a lot to be said about this product. Let me start by saying I hadn’t shaved, waxed, or epilated my legs for a good 7 months and my hair was thick and long. After keeping this cream on for 10 minutes it wiped almost all of it away. My legs are now more at the very beginning of the prickly stage. Like where you can feel it when rubbed up against, but you can’t see it. So, it definitely did not get the hairs at the root. There was a very small amount of hair left behind after wiping it off as well, but they were easy to just epilate away with absolutely no pain. There IS a smell; and it does resemble an eggy fart, but unless you have a VERY weak stomach, it’s easy to ignore. My main purpose for buying this product was mainly because I was dreading the time and effort it would take to shave and epilating or waxing was just too painful for the length the hairs were at. So basically just to get an easy fresh start. I also get really bad chicken skin/strawberry legs after shaving/waxing/epilating, but even though I still have it a bit, it’s not as intense and red as it usually is. I’m personally very impressed by this product as someone who’s never used chemical hair removal before.Edit: I thought I should add that I did all of this outside of the shower. The one time I listened to the directions on the back of the bottle all of the product got rinsed off and only took off patches of hair.

Its really not terrible if you have really thin hair.
I am a white woman with thin hair on my head and I tried this on both my legs and bikini area. My leg hair is just a little coarse, but not dense at all, nothing crazy especially because I have poor circulation in my legs.. It didnt work when using it for 10 minutes, but I will try again I guess. I got the bottle so...In my bikini area (where the hair is pretty course and dense), it took off very small patches. Mind you the hair was not very long at all. I thought it was an absolute fail. But then i exfoliated lightly over it, and the hair started falling out. Perhaps youre not supposed to do that...but it worked and my skin wasnt irritated as I dont have sensitive skin. The hairs were very weak and the exfoliation took basically all of them off. But the hair was still stubby, the whole root was there still, as if you didnt shave against the growth yet, or like your hair has been growing for a few days. This completely defeated the purpose to be honest... but on the bright side, it saved time and water, and I guess my razor too?In the end I just shaved over the stub and it was smooth as if I just shaved it regularly. Once again it defeats the whole purpose...but i guess it wasnt a 100% fail. Only like an 85% fail. Itd be more of a fail if you know you have really thick hair. Good luck especially to people of color who generally have more course, thick, hair. This will likely not work for you unfortunately, as it didnt work for me.As for the smell, it isnt bad. Especially considering ive heard most nairs smell really gross. This smelled sorta like a lotion.

Just used it
Hi, I'm Hungarian, german, Irish, and a little bit of everything. I don't have sensitive skin but I have very thick brown hair everywhere. I just used this product, Nair. I applied this stuff down there and here is what happen. I applied on dry skin with unshaved hair. I applied a medium amount while sitting on the toilet. I waited for 9 minutes before hopping in the shower. I was standing up and walking around while having the product on. After washing it off with a rag and medium heated water. The majority came off. Some spots were leaf, it did not sting in the front but my behind stinged a little bit. I washed it off as many times as I can so I didn't leave any behind.Overall it works! Apply ALOT, not medium.. that hair should look like 4 inch of snow on a grass yard, with the hair popping out a little bit. Less time for your behind, the skin is more sensitive than everywhere else. Also, I didn't get any rashes but it does sting a tiny bit after the shower and everything. I highly recommend moisturizer afterward. Will I do this again, yes! Oh and for best results, I recommend doing it twice... I'm spacing it out for the next shower but yeah.
