This is a fabulous device to make replacing your zipper easy. Didn’t want to buy a new coat or pay a small fortune to have zipper replaced. This is a fab alternative. So easy. Just loosen the screw, place it in the teeth and tighten just enough so you can still move it. Only drawback is that to allow for the screw on feature, it’s top heavy and means you need to fiddle a bit to get it to zip up. But it’s Just a minor issue. It’s a solid zipper and great value for a quick fix. So happy with it as I love my coat. Update: after a few weeks of use, still love it, but the screw does loosen with usage. When that happens, you’ll notice because the zipper won’t stay zipped. If it happens, just tighten it up a bit and all will be good. For me, that works just fine. It’s still fat cheaper than replacing the full zipper or buying a new coat.

I was not expecting much from this item, as I have seen mixed reviews on this kind of product. It was a last ditch effort to repair my sons beanbag/sleeping bag in which the plastic zipper pull had broken. It worked perfectly. Easy to use and seems to function better than the original it replaced. The only reason it has not got 5 stars is because the screw is easy to turn accidently...but this is easy to fit again and hasknly happened once. I'd recommend for quick and easy fixes on the fly or where other options are limited. Make sure you measure your zip.

This zip pull is a brilliant piece of equipment & just as the seller described. I was actually a little worried that it would look rather clumsy but not at all. It looks quite neat. It was easy to put on with very good illustrated instruction leaflet. After a little adjustment on the screw which needs to be tighter than realised, it works fine. I have only had it a short while so not been put to long term test. All in all I am very pleased as it has enabled me to continue to wear a favourite cardigan. It is rather expensive but taking in mind it can be used on other items that have a same size zip. I would recommend it.

Following the instructions, the zip I needed to replace for a zip-up hoodie stated size 5. I therefore ordered a medium 'repair kit'. However like other reviewers when I put it in place and tried to zip up the garment, while the zipper moved up the zip, the zip itself remained open, in fact it was worse than the zipper it had replaced, at least it did zip up and only opened when some pressure was put on it. The best I can say is that it's easy to replace the zipper, but if it doesn't do the job it's not much use. Based on other reviews I see little point in ordering a small since they seem to indicate that they will be too small.

I can see that this might work but unfortunately it doesn’t on my zip. Worth a try but a bit expensive- keeping it in the sewing box in case I can use it sometime.

The zip fastener on my best Tog24 winter jacket broke off, I thought that was the end of the jacket or maybe I would have to velcro the jacket together but then I found this! Works a treat, fitted in seconds, the wheel thingy needs to be tight but my jacket is good again, saved me a LOT of money.

Purchased this item to repair golf bag zip. Carefully measured my zip and ordered the medium size, which matched the zip’s width. However would not work on this finer zip which was also on a slight curve. The depth of the zip is also important and I reckon this item would work better on a chunkier one.

So useful. Has mended my beach bag. Screw fitting enables it to fit over zip and replace broken zipper. Medium was perfect sizing and if I stop using this bag, I shall remove the new fixing for the next broken zip. Magic!

Fonctionne parfaitement bien pour mon pantalon de moto sur le zip étanche. Par contre, même pour un simple zip il vaut mieux lire le mode d'emploi car le curseur, pour les zip étanches ou invisibles doit se monter à l'envers. Ce n'est pas intuitif et à la première tentative, sans rien lire, je l'ai monté normalement et ça ne fonctionnait pas du tout.

Il cursore è geniale, applausi a chi lo ha inventato. L'ho usato per riparare la cerniera lampo a spirale della valiggia.Istruzioni d'uso abbastanza chiare, ma solo sul consiglio di un utente di usare le pinze per stringere la vite,sono riuscita a sistemarla e FUNZIONA ! Non mi piace il cordino per il tiraggio, che è scomodo e non permette la corretta chiusura lampo. Consiglio di cambiarlo , almeno x la taglia grande.

Ok, at first, I was disappointed because I put the zipper on and it'd didn't engage the teeth. THEN...I saw the installation VIDEO! When the guy said to "press the ends together when starting the zipper in order to engage the teeth", I thought to my self that it can't be that easy. It was. It would have been a very cold winter, and an expensive fix if I couldn't get this zipper to work. Folks..THIS THING WORKS GREAT!!! Thanks guys for a much warmer Jeep driving winter!! btw, It DOESN'T say to press on the zipper to get teeth engaged on the product directions. I almost gave up!

The zipper repair kit is amazing. I didn’t know that such a thing existed. If you’ve lost the upper portion of your zipper you can simply replace it without sewing or stitching. This little invention saved me from buying a new sleeping bag as I was able to repair the one that I have. I’m going to keep an extra with me as I can use it on jackets, backpacks and anything else with a zipper.
