This time very fresh
Last time I ordered these walnuts I left a not so favorable review, because they were not as fresh as they could be. This time they were fantastic, very fresh and crisp, no bitterness. I include below what I said the last time I reviewed them. So maybe the bag I got did get exposed to heat, I don't know. But fair shakes, I was really impressed this time. My old review: I've ordered these walnuts before of this brand and they are usually very good. The last time they didn't keep as long and got bitter quicker than usual. I wonder if they were exposed to heat at some point during shipping? They are still good, but just a bit bitter as walnuts can get. I would still order from them again.

Rancid, not fresh.
I was looking for fresh walnuts. Upkn arrival if this bag I could tell without opening they were rancid because if the oil in the bag and all the crumbs and dust. Sadly, unable to return a sealed untouched bag! I didn't notice the return policy. So I opened it to at least try one and see how bad it was. Only to confirm they are rancid and bad. They would ruin whatever you cook with them. Avoid.
