Works great to staple when you need a long reach or staple a booklet. It definitely has some strength in how many pages it can staple. Easy to use and set up and it has not jammed on me yet.

Massive, heavy, and it works like a boss. If you need to staple things in weird places that a regular stapler can’t reach, it can’t be beat.

I just got this stapler for home, but have been using the same one (older generation) at work for years. The one at work has been around for 7+ years and taking lots of abuse and it finally just died. I replaced that one with one of these and then got one for me. I'm thrilled with this stapler. Highly durable (if treated nicely), easy to use, doesn't jam frequently (when treated nicely), and is a great value. With the little measuring bit, I can get the staples lined up exactly the way I want. Great stapler!

The Bostich Long Reach Stapler has worked great. The guide has sufficient tension not move and I've stapled numerous pamphlets with each being hit exactly in the middle. Great Buy.

This is a sturdy, well-made stapler. It does the job. It does what it says it does, but no more. That's why I give it 4-stars. I do not fault the stapler. It was my fault, knowing that we were creating booklets near the product description's stated 20-sheet capacity of this stapler. I thought there might be a little leeway, but there was not. We ran into a brick wall (actually, it was literally a paper wall) when we neared and got to its capacity (or less than that while using card-stock). Both standard and chisel-point Stanley Bostitch Premium Standard Staples, 1/4 Inch Silver, 5,000 per box (SBS191/4CP) staples seemed to just crumble rather than penetrate these piles of paper. Success rates did not vary according to the amount of force used in stapling. We decided not to return or retire the Bostitch, but rather leave it for those less demanding jobs that we know are certain to appear. A little more research (the "more" I probably should have initially done), would have led us to purchasing the PaperPro 1610 Long Reach Stapler , which we did. Its product description says, "80% easier to use than standard long reach stapler" (which in this case is the Bostitch). I would say it's at least 100% easier. It does the job with standard staples with the touch of ONE FINGER as advertised. This was obvious from the first booklet stapled. It is so effective; you would think it was electric. This is not to tear-down the Bostitch. It does what it claimed it would do. The PaperPro 1610, however, is a different animal. This is simply a heads-up so that you do not make the same mistake that we did.

Perfect for my stapling needs. Built to last, with metal construction. Feels heavy and doesn't slide on the table when using. No jamming has occured yet and have been using it for about 6 weeks now. Very easy to use. Happy with this item. Thank you!
