This is an easy product to review. There exactly what it says it will. It’s priced fairly. It’s durable and lasts for it a long time (years if you need to has a back up, as well). Just make sure you have a second rag to wipe the item down after. This is conventional protocol anyway. I recommend to the highest degree.

This is the best cleaning cloth I have ever used to clean gun it is pre damp with rem oil and is a breeze to use

I purchased this Rem Cloth when I got my Tangfolio Witness Elite Match which has an all metal frame and I needed something to just run over the outside of the pistol after cleaning it to give it a shine. This Rem Cloth works amazingly well and it makes my pistol look like new every time I use it. I also own a couple of Glocks and I found that it gives the slide a black mirror like appearance when I run this cloth over it. I now have 3 of these cloths and there is one in my range bag at all times. It lasts a long time if you keep it in the ziplock bag that comes with it and you can use the Rem Oil ( Remington Rem Oil pump with MoistureGuard ) to "renew" its effectiveness but they are probably using something more than Rem Oil on this cloth because it does not work as well spraying it with Rem Oil than when it is new. To make it last a long time, you should use this on clean metal for a finishing touch and you should not use it to clean the firearm with it.I have used this cloth on other equipment like my drill press and it works well so even if you do not own firearms, this is still an item that you want laying around in your garage and you will find that you will be using it often.

Its not like it doesn't work, its a cloth with oil on it. The reason I dropped a star was there was too much oil. I literally had to ring out the cloth to get all the excess oil off. After that, it was more usable.

Wanted something that was convenient to carry in my range bags to easily wipe down equipment. This came recommended, so I am trying it. Other reviewers that have used this for a long time state this is a great product. I also have a product for CLP for cleaning pistol (I recommend Froglube - GREAT product - smells like wintergreen, made by veterans (SEALS to be exact), and recommended by lots of veterans).This cloth is a very soft 'terry-towel' washcloth size. Reminds me of some of the nicer golf towels on the market for cleaning clubs. Came in a box, enclosed in a sealed, plastic bag, that has an easy-tear open and a reseal to keep it free from dirt and air. I was expecting to feel some 'dampness' from the cloth, but it is dry to the touch, so no liquid to deal with. These little clothes have a lubricant + corrosion Inhibitor. The ingredients are different than what comes in the Rem Oil aerosol can. What I found is that with the Rem Oil aerosol can it dries really quick. Because the cloths lubricant mixture is being NOT sprayed from an aerosol Rem Oil mixture the lubricant coating stays on longer. It's less vaporous plus the fact it uses different ingredients. These cloths ingredients seem to be similar to the contents of the Break Free CLP aerosol (more oily) compared to the Rem Oil Aerosol -- which does leave a oil coating but dries much quicker; although not as quick, as say, Gun Scrubber!I use these cloths once I've already cleaned the gun with Gun Scrubber and the Rem Oil Aerosol. Spraying Aerosol Rem Oil on these clothes will NOT get it back to the original mixture that was on the cloth when new. In fact, once the cloths have been exhausted of lubricant I'll probably just put some Non-Aerosol Rem Oil (or WD-40) on them and use them that way since WD-40 and Rem Oil (liquid) retains much of it's "oil" properties rather than the Rem Oil Aerosol.Either way, I love these cloths for that last shiny polish!

Nice, soft cloth, charged with just enough RemOil (with MoistureGuard) to leave a thin film on a firearms metal surfaces, on tools or knives. It will also leave a thin coat of lubricant. I find the lube handy when I want a lubricant to use on keys or reloading dies, for instance. Makes a nice "stocking stuffer" sort of gift, too.To make it last longer (you can't wash it), wipe away any soil or residue on a surface before using this cloth. I carry one when going to the range or in the field, so I can always protect my firearms and knives with a quick wipe.

I purchased this product not long ago but when open the package is seemed very dry. Not sure if had dried out but cloth was harder then expected I was wondering if I had to and some light oil to it to make it softer and work better. Thanks

I didn't even open the pouch. Just looking at it you could see the cloth was swimming in an excess of what I presume to be oil! There actually was oil sloshing around the pouch. If you actually opened it and tried to use it there'd be oil everywhere, where you wanted it and where you didn't. You'd need to shower after using it because it'd be all over you. Nothing in a 3km radius would rust though....Terrible!!! Did I mention it was dripping in a ridiculous amount of oil? I should have believed the more recent reviews on amazon.comStraight back for a refund.
