This is a very sturdy tool and surprisingly useful
I'm not a carpet installer and will always hire a pro to get the job done right... just not my thing. However, we have carpet that needs replacing and were trying to avoid doing that for a year or two. We also have cats that often pull carpet away from the walls. Shouldn't happen, but the original installers did a horrible job. I'm not sure they even used a stretcher as the carpet was wrinkling and stretching within a year. This tool has been useful to tuck the carpet back under as we've stretched it back in shape and it is really useful when the danged cats pull the carpet edges out when they're playing. Super sturdy and well made.

Don't lay carpet without it
Bought this tool to go along with my Roberts 10-412-2 knee kicker. A must have could not have achieved the professional out come without it. I highly recommend this tool and the roberts knee kicker. I am a grandma and used these 2 tools on my first carpet laying project and it looks great. a 10 x 12 room and closet. Looks fantastic. Very sturdy construction..does the job ! Watch a u tube video and buy these 2 products

I had a doorway with the carpet coming loose. I bought a few tools I needed to repair it and forget it. This tool work very good to re-attach to carpet to the tack strip and to get it back down under the edge of the doorway trim.

Made stair carpet installation perfect!!
This tool was recommended to me for my do-it-yourself stair runner installation. It is very sturdy, easy to handle (I'm a 71 yr old woman) definitely helped make the carpet tight along the treads. I highly recommend it!!

Bit Expensive but good solid stair tool...If you know how to use it and set your gripper correctly. If not hire a carpet fitter

Yes. Firm tool, heavy enough steel blade. Handle could have bit a tad larger, but this is all good to work with.
