Cheaply made and small.
Frame is mainly plastic and flimsy. I’ve used it a few times and one of the legs has already busted. Also, it is NOT a large umbrella. It is average size at best.

Very clever design
Every now and then I run across a feature in something I've bought that just plain delights me....and solves a problem I didn't know I had. This compact folding umbrella is like that. There a lots of such umbrellas out there that open with a push of the handle button. But how many also close with a push of the same button? To be sure, it doesn't retract as well, but it closes the umbrella with a "snap" in such a fashion that rainwater is trapped INSIDE the folded umbrella. Very clever indeed!I've only had it for a few days but it has already rained a good bit here so I know that part of the umbrella works well. It's too soon to know how sturdy and reliable it is but it seems to be well made - fiberglass ribs and a couple sets of internal springs to drive the opening/closing function.

Weakpoint
I've bought 5 of these, I have one in each of my doors in my car. I really do like the flexible skeleton, first one I've had that doesn't bend. I like the double action button. One complaint is it is a little difficult to push umbrella back in after you close it, my gf struggles to close it. And my other complaint, which is the main thing that I wish was improved, is that the top part is held onto the skeleton by a few threads so they can tear fairly easy. I used mine as a bucket, which obviously an umbrella isn't ment for but one of the strings tore. The skeleton held up great though👍. A sleeve would be nice instead of a few loops to hold it together.

Use this and you'll never buy another regular style umbrella again.
*** 2nd update December 2023***It's still going strong. It has been in 3 vehicles now and has kinda become a unofficial member of the family.** update** 18 months I have had my umbrella, my review still stands. I normally keep it in the door pocket, but it has been thrown around too. Bookbags, suitcases, it even survived the kids playing with it.**Compact yet not flimsy. Great travel umbrella or just to keep in your car. (Mine is in the pocket of the door.) Kinda awkward to operate at first, then you'll wonder why the even still make umbrellas the other way.I have noticed a few times that the little caps at the end of the supports come off while closed and stored. (The little things that keep you from poking yourself all around the umbrella.) Not a huge deal, they are attached to the fabric so you just spin the umbrella around and pop them back on. I set aside a tube of super glue so that I can put a dab on them next time and hopefully they'll stay put.

. Cheap material used. DONT BUY
Only used for 2 days! When I opened it, difficulty to open and it’s malfunctioning. Cannot be use anymore. The materials not made durable. I waisted my money buying this umbrella

Great umbrella
It's very sturdy and pops open REALLY fast (be sure to point it away from you and other people when opening). I have to use both hands to open and close it, though. Probably because I'm kind of old and my hands aren't very strong. Oh, and it's also great for keeping the rain off my head.

Ingenious double-loaded spring mechanism!
Auto-open and auto-close! It uses a double-loaded spring mechanism; the button fires twice, once to open and once to close.Obviously, the inverted fold keeps the "outside" of the folded umbrella dry.I haven't tested its resilience against strong gusts of wind. Singapore is quite mild weathered. Still, construction is solid, and I'm sure it can withstand strong gusts (though I wouldn't walk out in such weather to ever know).
