Olivia 2-In 1 Playset

This was a Christmas gift for our 3 year old granddaughtr. She loved it and she and her older sister had loads of fun playing with it.They're are only 3 negative things about this toy. It comes with lots of small pieces which can get swallowed or lost: an eyepatch for Olivia to wear while on the ship, small plates that go with the table and chairs, a plastic treasure map. . . these are very small and can easily get swallowed by a small child. There are also stickers which go in various areas of the playset. I would recommend the parent either put them in the house themselves or simply getting rid of them. Our 6 year old granddaughter had a difficult time getting them in as the paper is very thin and tears easily. If a sticker needed to be repositioned it would not come off without getting ruined. There is also a small sliding latch located on each side of the playset to keep it closed so it can be carried by the handle on top. These latches come open easily or sometimes don't close good. You have to double check that they latch securely before you attempt to pick up the house or it will come open. These should have been made bigger so that small hands can work them easier and stronger so they don't come open while being carried.Other than these 3 issues the toy was and still is a big hit with the kids. Even if I'd known about these small problems I would have still bought it. I recommend buying the Olivia Pig Action Figures (family set) to go along with this. We did and it was a wise move. The playset only comes with an Olivia figure so the extra figures prevented any disagreements over who plays with what.

This is one of the cutest toys we have. We purchased this for our 4 year old daughter for Christmas after it was very difficult to find in stock at our local toy stores. We are very pleased with the house and our daughter loves it. I like that all the accessories fit inside the house when it is closed so we can keep them all together in one place. There is a sticker sheet that comes with the house for you to decorate the house as you wish, but our sticker sheet was NOT die cut....it was one big sticker with the individual images printed on it. So I spent the better part of 30 minutes cutting out each individual image with the sharpest scissors I could find so we could actually use the sticker sheet. Still, a very cute toy and I'm glad we bought it and expect to get many hours of fun out of it.

My 4 year old daughter loves the show and this was perfect for her. Not a lot of toys keep her attention but she still goes back to this toy even after having it for a month. It does have quite a few small pieces, so we just keep them in a Ziploc bag so she doesn't lose them. It comes with one little Olivia, but you can purchase her family separately for under $15. It was a little pricey at $35, but for how often she plays with it, I think it was worth every cent! I love that it opens up to her "house" and then opens to a pirate ship. There are small toys for each and it comes with stickers so your child can decorate the different parts. GREAT BUY!

My kids, as well as other kids who come over to play love this house/pirate ship. It's a great price. I did not give it five stars only because there are lots of small pieces (I threw away some that wouldn't attach to anything) and I glued down the furniture so it did not fall out when the house was opened. This seems to work very nicely. The latch doesn't always close tightly, but it will fix if you try again. It's a great travel size and such a cool toy with 2 play scenes.

The four yr old loves this and based on the items she went back to more often I guess this was her favorite gift. I had hoped she would enjoy and use her imaginatioin playing with this but instead..so far..she seems to imitate what she sees on the show instead. However, when she puts it to the pirate side I see her own imagination taking place. It has small pieces which will be fine for her and they will easily store in the house when closed up. THe pirate house side has an eagle's nest that folds up but I do not know how long it will last, just like the palm tree that slips into a holding spot, soon the edges of it will wear out. Still I think she will outgrow the toy.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter enjoys playing with this toy. For kids unfamiliar with Olivia books/shows it would be less exciting. There are lots of tiny pieces. It is neat that the house coverts from a house to a pirate ship. It comes with stickers that are used to decorate the house and accessories. I'd recommend this for kids who love Olivia - otherwise, I would skip it because of the tiny pieces. Would also be good for kids who are older.

This was the one gift that my granddaughter really wanted from Santa. She was thrilled when she opened it and has had so much fun with it that her parents purchase another playset to extend her enjoyment. Most of the time, she uses the house side, but also finds it fun to play pirate from time to time.Overall, I feel the toy was worth the price. Some of the pieces of furniture are a little fragile, so care needs to be taken when playing with the set.

I had bought this as a Christmas gift for my 5 yr old daughter. We opened it on the 26th to notice that 14 pieces were missing. I have never had a problem ordering and receiving products through Amazon, so I was very disappointed. Even without all the pieces my daughter loves it. The furniture is not very sturdy as one of the chair is slightly bent after one time use. It's a good gift for kids who enjoy the show Olivia. I haven't contacted the seller yet but will do so soon.
