What is the warranty and have you ever had to use it?

i checked the original box they arrived in and it makes no mention of a warranty. they're good solid knives, balanced and not too heavy. as long as you take care of them and use them correctly i don't see how you would ever need a warranty. i would check the Global website and send them an e mail.

The paring knife is GS-38, about 3.5 inches, middle one is GS-3, 5 1/8 in., and big one is G-2, about 8 inches.

Where are these knives manufactured?

Made in Japan. I have serveral of them and they are great. No dishwasher and you need to sharpen them. They were recommended to me by Anthony Bourdan. These are very high quality chef's knives at a very good price. You take care of them and they will take care of you.

Do global knives come with sheaths or can sheaths to fit be purchased?

Mine did not come with blade protectors. I bought generic ones and they fit.
