Bought it for parents great quality great value for money

The parasol seems well constructed and the fabric appears durable. Raising the parasol is achieved by turning the crank handle and is smooth and requires little effort. This parasol does require a decent base and my heavy cast iron one certainly did the job. In order to prevent it from turning in the wind I used an old rubber door wedge in the hole of the table. This saved me having to scrabble under the table to lock and unlock the locking screw on my base every time I need to rotate it - job done👍. I did also purchase the parasol cover that was recommended by Amazon but given the quality I can’t see it lasting more than a season. However it was cheap so fair enough. All in all I can recommend this parasol for value, sturdiness and aesthetics.

Just what we wanted. The colour is beautiful. The parasol is wind resistant and the quality is amazing. Our table also has a parasol holder whole on the bottom tier and so we dis not need to buy one of those weighted stands. If your table only has the one whole on the table top then it may need a weight so that it stays upright. Thus is just a maybe as it is a good amount fo weight and so may stay in place without the stand. Great value for money.

I bought this to shield my 6month old from the sun whilst playing in the garden on her playmat, and wasn't sure if it was going to be suitable, but I'm really pleased, it's better than I had expected. Good quality of materials, really easy to assemble and to pack away, back into its bag, the overall size is perfect and it really does block out the sun, it takes up very little storage space, is light to carry, it needs a separate stand, or table clamp (I bought a separate stand), but it appears that it will be O.K. for the beach without the additional stand if it's not windy at all, we live on a hill on the coast, so we get quite a lot of breezy days/periods, but I'm pleased that it was a lot more sturdy than e.g. a golfing umbrella, which would have turned inside out and broken in similar conditions. My husband owns a massive Fishing umbrella, not much larger in diameter to the sun shade, it is 3x times heavier at least and does not disassemble like this sun shade, at long last I'm one up on him!I'm saving up to buy another sun-shade for my Mum.

I looked at many umbrella's before ordering this one, it always pays to read the reviews and of course check for the best price.The description, photos and reviews for this item are good, it's especially good to have a video showing the umbrella being 'put-up', so you can really see it being used..... the guy doing so is easy on the eye too ha! ;)It's been in use now for around 5 days and it's great. The quality is good, the size is as stated and unlike some others, it is actually Cream in colour! Many sell umbrella's as Cream, when in fact they're not... they're Beige...nearing Taupe.It's sturdy thus far, i live on the corner of a hill, so my home is pretty battered by any winds, of course it matters that you have the appropriate base, but the quality of the umbrella also matters and i'm very happy with it.Highly recommend the item, and seller.

This parasol looks lovely. Perfect for a day on the beach or at a festival. Keeps the sun and the rain off. Packs away nicely and light weight, easy to carry. Unfortunately it doesn’t do very well when it’s windy. Not the sturdiest parasol you can buy, but for the price it’s a good choice.

Good value for the money

I got this in green, it's a lovely vibrant colour so easy to find your spot on the beach! Has a spiky pole to get it in the ground. Came with a carry bag with a good shoulder strap thing, which makes it convenient to carry. Oh it's not awful see-through material and so it blocked the sun well for my little ones!
