Casio MTP-VT01L-2B Men's Minimalistic Blue Dial Brown Leather Band Analog Watch

Nice simple 3 hand watch from Casio. I am so glad this has the reliable Japanese movement. Be mindful, if you replace the band, be sure to measure the watch. I replaced the cheap imitation leather watch band with a genuine leather one found on amazon. All of the details online show the band is 21mm. I ordered a 21 mm replacement from Amazon, and it was too wide. The watch actually uses a 20mm band. The 20mm worked perfect.

It is an ok watch, for the price it’s a good purchase considering its got a Japanese machine in it. It’s not the most elegant but works out.

The watch is functioning exceptionally well. The accuracy is better than stated. They say ±20sec/month Mine is about +12 sec/month The only reservation I have is that the word 'minimalistic' in its description is a bit off. 8.2 mm thickness is not quite right and i actually measured and found it to be 8.4 mm. The stainless steal case is shiny not matte as it appears to be in the picture.

Being a minimalist, I needed a wristwatch that demonstrated time (hour~minute~second) without any other information cluttering up the dial. And with the dark rich blue, the hands and hour markers stand out beautifully. While it is not super thin (and super expensive in the process) it is thinner than many watches I have see and this means no snagging when my hand goes into a trouser pocket or a shoulder bag pocket. Life is good!

I had wishlisted for atleast four years and finally bought it in diwali sale in ₹1800. Absolutely magnificent. Go for it.
