POWERCAP LED Hat 25/10 Ultra-Bright Hands Free Lighted Battery Powered Headlamp

I bought this item for my husband who is a delivery driver. We live in a pretty rural area and a lot of folks either don't have street lights or don't turn on any lights and he complained to me that it was difficult to hold his flashlight and the delivery bags on the way to the customer's house. He's also got a pretty large hat size but he despises snapback hats. I was so relieved when I found this PowerCap Velcro closure flashlight hat!! It's easy to clean as the battery pack comes off the hat and you just toss the whole thing into the wash, excellent for the dusty Texas roads, and it's durable. He uses it EVERY NIGHT and has thanked me over and over for this birthday gift...I call that a win!

Love the way the light shines from under the brim but does not shine in your eyes while wearing it. My hands are free to hold or do other tasks while I am comfortably wearing it. I will purchase another soon

There is not a low beam selection, as some people have noted in other reviews. That doesn't matter to me, because I am using it strictly to walk my dogs at night. It gets a five-star review for brightness.Granted, the hat isn't the highest quality, but none of the ones I've purchased are. This one is higher quality than others I've seen.

I have bought a half-dozen of these things for myself and others. The basic idea is terrific, and for somebody who has to use a cane it is a necessity. If you carry a cane and a flashlight, you can't carry anything else, open a car door, etc., etc. I rate it a 4 rather than 5 only because the new one doesn't have a dual light set, which allows you to decide whether to see into the distance, or see what's in your hands. One's best for walking in a dark street; the other's best for trying to find your driver's license in a dark car when the cops pull you over. Study the product description carefully; perhaps now they are selling two different models, and I did not notice, and bought the simpler version. Keep your eye out forPowercap to introduce a usb-rechargeable version. Others have done so, but the basic hat isn't near as good and the lights are even less well designed than the new Powercap. But if Powercap ever puts out a rechargeable version with the dual=light set, i will stock up.

I bought this for my son. He had a previous cap, and we couldn't find an exact cap anywhere. Until I find it on Amazon. What he loves the most is the head light.

My fiancé is an appliance technician and this is the only hat he will wear! I routinely buy him new ones so he has a fresh one. The light lasts a pretty long time and you can always put in a new battery. Though by the time he needs a new battery I usually just get him a new hat. If your a guy who does handy work this is the hat for you!

I’ve been trying to get something that was user friendly for my 84 year old husband for when he walks our dog at night. This is just a pleasure. He’s hands free and can see everything! Thank you!

I bought this for my husband since he works at night and outside in the parking lot it's very dark & he's trouble seeing. He was skeptical that it would be of use at first but he loves it. It's nice and bright and the hat is comfortable too. This was a great idea and a great purchase.
