DiCUNO MR16 GU5.3 /G4 Lamp Holder, Bi-Pin Base for 12V Halogen/LED Bulb, Ceramic Socket with 150MM Lead,5-Pack

Bought to rewire some outside lights to standard replaceable bulbs. Worked a treat and appear to be functioning A1. LED bulbs so little heat generated but look like they'd take quite a bit. The wire tails are a good length although the wire used is cheap thin stuff.

A little bit more fiddley than the more common ones but hold the bulbs very well. Good value for the price.

Very good as the holder has proper sprung sockets. These hold the bulb firmly and make good electrical contact. Don't be tempted to get the cheaper ones which just have a hole visible - they just work loose and corrode especially in a bathroom.

Whilst fitting these leads as a replacement lead to a metal bathroom cabinet I found that the blue silicone collars slid very easily down the cable exposing the terminals to easily make contact with the metal mounting brackets of the cabinet. The collars needed extra insulating tape to keep them located and the terminals protected. This is a safety matter and should be addressed by the manufacturer. The actual bulb pin holes were very effective and worked somewhat better than the usual ones.

Perfect job. After weeks of having one of the kitchen lights flicker, this little connection sorted it out👌

Heat resistance is irrelevant because I am using it with LED lamps. It has good gripping contacts and enough flying leads to connect to most applications. The leads are flexible and well insulated and are about 130mm long. A good product for my needs.
