First class product for application and removal. Terrific value!
So here’s the deal - I clayed and polished my BLACK MERCEDES (emphasis added) with Menzerna 3800 (formally 4000?) in November. Finished with Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 and results have been incredible. Just got the Collinite 915 and had to try to add it with Wolfgang from almost 3 months ago. (Special thanks to people who responded here to my question about layering). So I pulled the car out of the garage and said “Hell No” it’s 45 degrees, cloudy, and I’m not doing anything. Of course I did a quick spray detail to wipe off dust, no more than 3 minutes. Then I figured, why not try Collinite? Sure I didn’t wash the car and the weather is not great for applying caranuba wax, but my other choice was watching the Pro Bowl.I’ve seen many people saying it’s hard to remove but I didn’t have that problem. I did have to turn the microfiber frequently because of wax buildup and even use a second one. No biggie. I also did about 2 panels at a time and let rest for a couple of minutes. Removal was easy and surface was perfect. Only one problem I’ve noticed with all of these ultra fine products is that the surface is so perfect that it developes static electricity, which can attract lint and dust. A simple ground wire would probably take care of this but I usually end up doing a real quick detail spray. Granted I just applied, and it’s layered over an exceptional sealant known for its rich look, but Collinite was a breeze to use and even on a cold, cloudy winter day, it made my black Merc look great! Got to drive about 180 miles tomorrow and looking forward to it!

Beautiful gloss, durable show wax
If you are a DIY person or able to follow instructions this wax is worth it and will give an added “pop” while protecting your cars paintVery good looking wax. It’s meant as a show car wax for perfect paint, and I used it on my highly polished paint, and it made my car extremely glossy. But I have also used it on beat up scratched/dented cars with great visual improvement. The wax is very hydrophobic, but if you want the ultimate in self cleaning look elsewhere(fusso coat or ceramics). Extremely durable, if you want to remove a fresh coat from your car you will need to strip wash/degrease multiple times and then go over it with panel wipe. I could see this easily lasting 5-6 months as it has survived 2 months washing with strong soaps. Gloss retention in my eyes is pretty good as well. Also when they say THIN coat they mean it, better to have 2 thin coats than one thick coat that you can’t buff off.Pros: Gloss, depth general look of the paint etc., durability, beadingCons: price is a little high when collinite 476 is just as durable, if you leave it on too long you have to buff harder or use a damp rag/spray wax, also don’t get it on plastic trim.

Wowzah! 👍👍
I don’t write many reviews but I had to with this one. Collinite 915 was a breeze to apply and remove leaving my car with a mirror-like shine with protection for months to come (first application, 2nd 24 hours after). This tin will last me a very long time as it takes very little product to create the elegance. Couldn’t be happier!

The Best I've Used
I also bought this wax based on reviews and being a long time Mcguires fan I was doubtful I would find anything better. I have tried many different waxes and could find nothing superior to McGuires. That is until I tried Collinite Marque D'Elegance 915. Collinite is now by far the the best wax I've ever used. My Dodge Dakota is bright yellow and this wax gives the finish more depth and shine than even McGuires could. Collinite 915 is supposedly known for its durability but I can't speak to that as its only been a week. And I will probably wax it every few weeks so I'll never know how long it lasts. Several people talked about the increased effort to remove Collinite; I waxed my truck when it was 50 degrees outside and it came off easy with a microfibre towell. I do take exceptional care of the finish which may be part of the ease in removal (clay bar, frequent washings). I tried Collinite on chrome and wasn't as impressed with the finished product as with my main Chrome polish, so I won't be using it on chrome. If I find something better than Collinite 915, it would have to be something I've never heard of because I've tried them all. Collinite is the best.

Best you can buy
We have used many products to wax cars, boats and everything else you could polish and this is the very best we have ever used. Goes on smooth and wipe off is easy. The results and staying power is what set this product apart. Longer lasting and the brilliant shine and water shedding quality is unmatched. Yes you will have to reapply every 6 months if driving each day and especially if you don't have a garage but it is worth the effort. I personally would not put a ceramic coating on my vehicles since they don't last very long for the price and they are sometimes extremely difficult to remove so you can reapply. We prefer this wax to sealants also and have experience using all these products. Remember the secret to using any surface enhancing products like this is to prepare the paint surface by decontaminating it with clay and or buffing, then wipe down with a good paint prep. If your cars has scratches and imperfections ALL of these products will make them look worse....You don't want that!
