Mens Evapouration II Jacket

Awesome jacket, perfect for rain and wind! Looks great, top quality, nice zippers and pockets, and adjustable waist. It's portable, lightweight, and folds up small.

I use to be a back country guide, and I own Colombia ski jacket with the Omni-tech. I am pretty picky about my outdoor gear. Price to features, is important to me. I wanted a light shell, that packed small. A rain jacket that is back in the car, does you no good when a surprise rain hits. Just got this jacket, and it rained an hour later. So far so good. Kept me dry, and broke the wind. I am 5-11, 160 pounds. Ordered the Large. Fits great. I am still able to wear say a t-shirt and a sweat shirt under it, possibly even a fairly thick sweater or another jacket. An under appreciated feature of this jacket, that I really like in my ski jackets, is vents under the arm pits. If it is raining out or just windy and cold, and you are hiking or doing other physically intense activity, you are going to sweat. When you stop you are going to be just as cold, as if you had got soaked by the rain. Those under arm zipper vents let you control your temperature better. You can get hypothermia, while staying completely out of the rain, from just sweating too much. That one will sneak-up on even the most experienced outdoors people.

Great Product, delivered expectation just not perfect.

This is a great light-weight waterproof jacket. Understand that it has no insulation, it is an outer layer, so size accordingly. I bought it to run an Antarctica marathon. Medium fit me, 175lb male, 5' 10" tall. I had a couple of thin thermal layers under this coat. It would've kept me dry in light rain or snow. Under exertion, I sweat hard and had to remove the coat-too warm and I was getting sweat soaked. But-it is now my "go to" light rain jacket, great for walking wet weather labs, heading to the mailbox or just needed to be outside when it's raining (camping). I really like the jacket.
