A brilliant series for teaching children how to read. My children who are just learning to read, love them and the beautiful illustrations that accompany the text. Also it is nice for children to read books that are just about everyday life and things they can relate to. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who would like to teach their children to read.

The book was as described and the quality was good.

We have quite a few of these books in our house now, they’re not anything substantial but instead of a full on story they place emphasis on vocabulary and developing literacy skills. Highly recommend to parents.

I had just one of this book, I don't remember from where I had got it as a child. Though I had a desire to get some more of the type I hadn't the means to know from where to purchase them as in our days we had no computers or internet or online purchase. Now with all these facilities I am collecting the same for my grandchildren. I hope they will use my collections and know the value of these books. They are so good to learn the English language, simple and pictorial. Just one theme a book. Though a little costly, they are worth it.

No problems with shipment, especially since most ot the series came from the United Kingdon. I don't feel the need to review each book because if I have success with the first in the series, I'll likely have success with the rest. I ordered them because a British friend suggest the series might succeed where the Laubach series didn't seem to be work with my adult Second Language speaker.

A great way to get 4 year-olds to start reading. It worked with my son, and now with my grandchildren.I start with level 1, and go straight through.Only drawback is that, because it is British, some words seem unusual to the kids; ex. 'shop' for 'store' and 'sweets' for 'candy'
