I needed a cord for our rehearsal studio that allowed old iPhones, lap tops and new iPhones and android phones to connect to play back rehearsal tracks without a collection go adapters and the cord solved the process perfectly. I have now equipped a 4 rehearsal studios with this cord and the choreographers love the convience. The quality is very good quality so I know the music will be transmitted in full quality.

Within a minute of learning this exists, I ordered it. I’m a longtime musician/producer who does NOT like to be stuck in the studio. I often compose music on my iPhone using Korg Gadget 2, or edit sounds I’ve sampled using apps like TwistedWave. Modern technology has given us the ability to compose and record with a device in our pocket, yet there seem to be few ways to transfer that end product to other devices (or use them in live performance) without digitally transferring files or rigging several types of adapters together to get the sound from your iPhone to external machines. This lightning adapter is a solution! The audio works great - there’s no hum or static. I’ve been using it to record my Korg Gadget compositions into my portable Tascam multitrack recorder as I work on demos remotely, and to edit samples and quickly transfer them to my Roland SP404Mk2 device. What you do want to know is that this cable works one way: out of your iPhone through the lightning port and into two mono (L/R) 1/4” audio jacks. It does NOT allow you to feed the audio from another device to the lightning port and into your phone (you’ll need a more expensive adapter, like an iRig, to do that). This works great for what it’s supposed to do and has thinned out my bundle of wires and adapters substantially!

Cable works just as described. I DJ/emcee many local events and it's just a matter of time before a baton/dance/whatever group of kids needs music to perform to that the group leader has on their phone. Nowadays, when phones no longer have headphone jacks, this cable fills that gap by allowing these leaders to plug their phone directly into the inputs of my audio mixer. The cable features connectors for iPhone, android (type C only) or the old fashioned 1/8" stereo plug. An item no DJ should be without.

Quality connectors and a solid build. Functions as expected and delivers clean sound, although I was expecting a heavier cable but, considering the connection points, you wouldn't want a heavy cable pulling down on the interface on you device. All in all I would buy this again. Good value for the price.
