Q: I see a lot of reviews about cracking after a short period of time period what type of warranty does this product come with?

The only warranty expressed or implied, is a 1-year guarantee against defect in workmanship and material. Thiswarranty doe not apply to damages which may result from neglect, accidental or intentional damage, exposureto extremes in temperature and humidity, and alteration or abuse of the product. Wood products ordered 'unfinished' do not come with a warranty. You must do as the others have suggested oil it often and you will not have any problems. Its starts to crack once it becomes to dry. So have to oil it regularly but not too often that will also mess the board up.

Antimicrobial is a function of the treatment or oil that is applied after purchase; not a function of the wood itself.
