Snugz Full Face Mask Liners: Machine Washable, One-Size-Fits-Most FULL Face CPAP Mask Liners, Pack of 2 Lasts 90 Days

The Snugz Mask Liners have solved both of the problems that have made me want to ditch my C-Pap: acne and leaks. OK, this review is about to get real. C-Paps are not the sexiest thing in the world, but when you need one, you need one. Once I started using a C-Pap, I quickly developed a ring of acne where the mask touched my skin. I cleaned my mask and skin every day, but still broke out. I was having sleep sweat and saliva getting trapped under the mask. My Doc prescribed a topical medication for my acne. The medication also became trapped by my mask caused my skin to burn. I couldn’t win. The other problem I had was noisy leaks. If your not familiar with this problem, it is when a puff of air from the C-Pap, causes a vibration between your face and the mask. This makes a sound my partner describes as “face farts.” (Sexy, I know. 🙄). I first tried to solve the problems on my own. I cutting a tube sock as a liner. It worked, but I worried about breathing in lint from an unfinished edge. I also tried paper liners, but they did not have the absorption and wicking that I needed. Snugz to the rescue! Snugz are soft and wick away the moisture from night sweats and drooling. (Admit it. We all do it.). After using Snugz, my skin quickly cleared up, and I no longer need topical medication. I like that the package comes with two liners, so you can use one, while washing the other. Snugz also fixed my “Face Farts”! Snugz fills in those nooks and crannies where your mask doesn’t sit directly on your skin. Snugz allow air to flow in and out of those areas without causing vibrations. Goodbye Face Farts! I love that Snugz are machine washable, and quite durable. The material does not pill up after washing, so I don’t worry about breathing in fabric fibers. I like to wash my Snugz as soon as thy arrive, to soften them up just a little. If I were to say anything critical about Snugz, it would be that they seem a little overpriced. Their durability helps me to justify the higher cost Because they do work so well for me, and have helped clear my skin, I am willing to pay just a little more. . I would, however, like to see them offered at a lower cost. Thanks Snugz, for helping to clear up my skin and giving my partner a good nights sleep! 😴

I got woke up more times than I can count last night because of big air leaks not "Micro" leaks as described in the product description. On close examination the thin silicone "Air Pillow" seal on my full face mask is designed to offer a great seal with minimum tension. Meaning I can have my mask really loose and the pillow expands providing its own tension. When adjusted properly you can barely feel it is on. My mask is Quattro Air. Now with the snugz liner I notice that the tension of the liner distorts the pillow type interface and bends it unnaturally. I found it impossible to anywhere near a good seal with my normal tension on the mask. My findings is I had to crank up the tightness on the mask so high it was uncomfortable to wear. So I'm stuck with a problem, deal with the silicon irritation with a proper mask fit, or have to crank down and tighten mask so tight I can't sleep. Areas of leakage where in two areas. 1. The top bridge of the nose where I can visually see the silicon malformed with the snugz liner on, and the bottom curvature of the mask where the liner does not wrap closely with the concave curve. Next topic is value, upon close inspection of the liner, it looks like a tube sock that someone cut and hemmed up the frayed edges. Even if this worked, and it was far from it for me. The value is so poor with what you get.

Ok so to explain my rating of only 3 stars. I think charging 30 dollars for 2 of these is completely overcharging by a huge amount. They also don't fit the larger mask well at all. It was very hard to get it on and then it made the opening shrink a half inch all around on the inside because of stretching.. It made wearing the mask uncomfortable and hard to breathe. If you aren't claustrophobic this might work for you but I am and it didn't. On the plus side, it did stop the vibrating completely. It made the mask much more comfortable to wear and almost eliminates the air leaks that were making it almost impossible for me to wear the mask no matter how much I tightened the head gear. As soon as the pressure went up the vibrating would start again and wake me right up. I tried it 2 nights but couldn't handle the narrowing of the interior opening. It kept sending me into panic mode. So the third night I took a tube sock, I cut it straight across 1 1/2" from the top, slipped it over the mask and it worked perfectly for a fraction of the cost. I didn't even bother to hem it yet. All this is made from is the same material as a soft ankle sock. It's like a 1 1/4" wrist band, easily made at home even if you have no sewing skills at all. Nothing to do but cut slices across a tube sock. I never like giving a negative review, I much prefer to give a positive review of products. However I just can't do so with this. It would work great if you have a smaller full face mask. Just way too expensive for what you get and although they advertise that it fits the larger masks it doesn't. If you try the tube sock idea, try to find those that aren't ridged at the top. It will give you more slices.

Love these. Tried tons of others. Cheap =cheap. So I do pay more for this brand but I find it's the best. I can hand wash or throw them in the washer with the whites. Mine last and last and I've never had to throw any away. I water f20 airfit full face mask size SMALL. so I have no opinion on other sizes. It has great elasticity and quality made. So it is worth it to me to pay more. Others where cheap and went thru them faster. Most fell apart when washing. You get what you pay for. I will always but these. I've had CPAP for years. And just now bought 2 more. Total 4 now. So that's how long they've lasted for me. Use every night. Hope they never change quality.

So the whole idea they are selling you on is that a "perfect" fit isn't nessesarily one that involves no leaking. This is possibly true, but the results of using this product are not the solution. With this on, your mask will leak (significantly) everywhere. I get the idea, it's supposed to be a controlled leak, and it actually does cool down your face nicely. But (especially as the pressure increases) the air coving out isnt benign. Firstly, it feels unsettling. This is something you might be able to get over, but you shouldn't have to. Second, it gets in your eyes - much harder to get over, and even closed eyes will feel the air blowing on them. Third, if the pressure is high enough, the whole mask just starts to shift around as it has no real seal, and the air keeps it from holding in place. The only way to avoid the constant and obnoxious leaking is to tighten your headgear - which obviously makes the mask rather uncomfortable. Other issues? The fabric isn't soft, and it's a rather loose weave. It feels like a cheap sock on your face, which isn't really what you want. I could actually make a better one of these by cutting the top off of a pair of socks. It would at least be soft. What you get is a tiny cardboard envelope, and inside are two little cloth tubes with elastic. They aren't shaped in any way to fit a mask, they really do resemble the tops of tube socks. They stretch-but unless you have a very small mask, it's going to be a tight fit. At $30, ($15/ea) I expected better. A better fabric, a better design, literally any effort whatsoever to make a product that did more than absorb sweat and leak air into your eyes.

I really wanted to believe the positive reviews. So much so that I made a trial purchase of this mask liner despite its exorbitant price. First off, it is WAAAY too tight for the ResMed F20 face mask. It falls off the bottom of the mask despite my prolonged efforts to expand the liner to make it fit. After 10-15 minutes of struggling with it, it seemed to be as aligned as the design would let it be (still too short for the chin area of the mask). When I put it on air streamed freely around the edges of the liner. As a result., the CPAP machine was unable to build up to proper pressure. I threw it out and cursed my pernicious optimism about aftermarket sleeves like this.

I really, really like these with a few caveats. PRO: They've made my full face mask fit better and there are fewer (or at least less sharp) compression lines on my face in the morning. It wasn't at all hard to position them on my mask and it stayed put. My mask now seems to leak less and I don't feel like I have to adjust the mask as much when I first put it on at night. CON: Way, way too expensive. You only get two covers for $30. That's $15 each. I have little socklets for my summer shoes that are not a whole lot different in terms of fabric and gripping rubberized edges, but they cost about $1 each (here on Amazon). It also comes with so much high-end packaging that I couldn't help but think that's what I was paying for. Since they're fabric and I'm acne prone (so I need to keep everything that touches my face as clean as possible), these covers need to be hand washed daily or at least every couple of days. But they're so expensive that I can't buy more to have the luxury of washing them less often. The stretch in the fabric also makes them rougher than I wish they were. They're not uncomfortable exactly, but I feel like they could be a lot softer and nicer on my face. BOTTOM LINE: It offers a nice improvement for CPAP daily use, but I hope this company or another one finds a more efficient production method and less pricey packaging so the price can come down and CPAP users like me can afford to use them like socks--buy a boatload to throw them in the laundry every day and grab a clean one for each nigh's use.

I bought the product for several reasons. First to lower my Events score. Second to reduce mask Sound. Third to reduce mask Markings on my face. The product reduced my Events score to the Three (3) level. First time ever I achieved this. The product reduced the mask Sound significantly. (Or so my wife says) The product did help eliminate the tell-tale mask marks after use. Therefore, the product gets a five (5) star. One further comment. Be aware of the increased Mask leakage that the product warns you about. It will definitely sore higher. But since my supervisor tells me "He only looks at the Events Score", I simply ignore mask leaks. Good luck to you.......

Surprenant au départ, la doublure m’a permis de diminuer fortement les rougeurs dues au masque. Le masque glisse moins durant la nuit. Par contre, ma machine enregistre de fortes fuites dues à l’étanchéité « compromise » par la doublure. Cela ne nuit apparemment pas à l’efficacité du traitement ni à une perte de pression.

Sadly these just don't work. They create huge leaks, more than I've ever had, with or without a liner, waking me up constantly. I checked the SD card and it confirms large leaks. Air blows up through top of nose, but the leaks are everywhere. Very disappointing and am having to return. On plus side, company customer service v good - they responded to a question (about which masks should work) very quickly, and the fabric itself is fine - fairly soft and well made. But sadly for something so expensive, it simply does not work for its stated purpose, at all. (NB all USA Amazon reviews seem to be unanimously 5 stars, whereas the UK reviews reflect the experience I've had! Very odd).

These did not work at all, I would have to have the mask strapped to tightly to my face to make this work. The straps can't even go that tight.

étant intolérant au silicone, il fallait me débrouiller avec des pansements collants. Cela n'était pas très pratique. Après une petite période d'adaptation (réglage du serrage du masque un peu plus intense qu'avant) cela fonctionne très bien et me simplifie le quotidien d'utilisation de l'appareil PPC contre l'apnée du sommeil

I had a real problem sweating and the rubber seal 'flapping' in the middle of the night causing me to wake up several times a night. After using these, I will not go back to not using one. My mask hasn't flapped once and they are relatively comfortable for the whole night. I did find that after 3-4 weeks, they fabric stretched and became loose and it started to slide down the mask, but it doesn't affect its useability in any real way. Would buy again.
