My new flea treatment favorite!!! It DEFINITELY works!
This stuff works !!! My only complaint is the cost, but it DEFINITELY works and I love that it doesn't contain the chemical pesticides. This keeps the fleas off my dogs for about 2 weeks. I spray my dogs wetting the top of the fur and work it in with gloved hands. I make sure to get every spot but spray it on my hands to rub around the face and head and genitalia. This product has been a lifesaver This summer for me and my dogs. After being displaced from our home, we moved in with family and the area is TERRIBLE for fleas. This helped significantly along with other products to help get a major flea infestation under control in about 2 weeks. I appreciate the smell which smells like citrus, but I've wondered how unpleasant it might be for dogs because its on the strong side. If you want a natural product that works, THIS IS IT!

It works!!!
This spray smells so good and after spraying my house then vacuuming about 10 mins later I was surprised to actually see dead fleas in my vacuum canister. I will be buying more. It's also safe to spray on your pets and safe to use if you have children.

Doesn't actually kill ticks
The bottled arrived today. I found a tick (on the floor) within 30 minutes of the package arrival - fate? I put the tick in a clear, clean plastic container and give it a hearty squirt. The bottle states 'kills on contact'. 15 minutes later, the tick is moving around as if nothing happened. As I write this review, it has now been 30 minutes and the little bugger is going strong. Doesn't sound like 'kill on contact' does it? The product does smell nice, but I would rather have it work. Reached out to the manufacturer via their website as well. Will initiate a return within a day or so, depending on speed of reply and actual content/tone of reply. EDIT Heard back from their customer service within a day. On the back of the bottle, in much smaller print, it does state 'kills by contact' and was informed that it can take up to 48 hours (that is not stated on the bottle anywhere). Tone of email was nice enough and by the next day, the tick was dead (to be fair, I also exposed it to vinegar, acetone, and rubbing alcohol, which it appeard to shrug off as well). It would also be nice to see this information on the Amazon listing so that our expectation is realistic. I noticed the bottle image states 'by contact' but my bottle does say on contact so perhaps this has been an issue in the past. I went ahead and used the product on my dogs, and will try it out. Next live tick I see, I'll try this experiment again with just the Tropiclean product to see if that alone will suffice to terminate the tick. Bumping the review up a star for customer service and will perhaps adjust again if I either don't see anymore ticks (I plan on using the product every four days as stated on back label) or it kills the next tick in isolation within the 48 hours).

Kills fleas.
Works for fleas! I'd used a topical medication (advantix II) and this did not work at all. I've got a 4mo old baby at home spncant have chemical sprays, nor can I give the dog any additional topical medication for the next month after having used the advantix- so this was truly a godsend. It seems to had too killed all the fleas on contact. I was able to see them dead around his neck area, and he was quite infested. I bathed him the next day and washed out many dead fleas. Doesn't irritate the dog at all and the smell is strong but pleasantly natural. I'll continue to use this every 3-4 days as needed. After which, I'm going back to Vectra (aka "smart guard") topical medication which has worked in the past. I'm in Southern California so the fleas are ridiculous around here. Very pleased.

Great Natural Alternative to Oral Meds--Works Better Than Anticipated
I have 2 active springers that I let run off leash in the woods every day unless it rains. Perhaps because of excessive heat and lack of rain, there have been very few ticks all summer. With Fall cooling and intermittent rain returning, the ticks have begun to reappear over the last week. Both dogs had around a dozen or more ticks on them for several days last week after the weather change. I have become very concerned with what I feed my dog after losing my last 2 to cancerous tumors. So, I changed to cooking large batches of chicken that I buy from Sam's Club. I have recently started reading about the harmful systemic effects of Isoxazoline used in oral tick meds and how its effect on the nervous system can result in seizures. So, I tried Tropiclean's tick spray after looking at the write-ups of many similar topical sprays. It has worked great and has a very nice orange citrus scent. I have used it now for several days and have had to brush out perhaps 1 in 3 days on each day on average that I could quickly pull and dispose of. Great product. I am a believer!!

ATTRACTS ticks
I had a similar spray once that wasn't great, but didn't attract ticks like this one does! I shook the bottle, sprayed it on my dog before her walk yesterday, and the smell was over-powering (like citronella). I thought we'd tolerate that if it meant no ticks. Took a walk on the road and grassy areas where we always go. This morning I'm petting her and I feel a tick; then another, then another. I pulled about 10 fresh ticks off of her (not bloated so not in her long) and kept flushing them down the toilet. Then I decided I better get a jar of soapy water and go through her furr entirely from head to tail. I got out her de-shedding comb, tweezers, and put on a headlamp because she's black. The rest of the ticks are in this jar. They're all new ticks. I already did a tick check before I sprayed her. What a rip off, and more important she was prob miserable and i never suspected. The other thing I didn't like was that on the bottle it tells you how this solution is toxic enough to "keep away from children". Again, i still decided to try it reasoning that even though it's botanical, it's concentrated. My number one goal is two goals combined : deter ticks while not making my dog sick. Well, it's not worth the smell and the fact I can't ruffle her furr and snuggle with her without worrying that crap will get on me or the kids' hands. I've used Frankincense oil, diluted in a carrier oil, and that isn't perfect but it works best. It's got to be worked into her furr and replenished daily which isn't as convenient as a spray, but it's both safe and effective. I do Not recommend this product AT ALL!
