Autism Help Group recommended it!
This one of a few Christmas gifts for my Grandson who has Autism. I'm hoping that it will help with his concentration. I'll have to let you know what his Mummy says after Christmas but the Autism Help Group recommended it.

Me and the kids all have enjoyed spending some time battling this with our brains
simple idea but great for those that like puzzles. This comes with 200 puzzles of increasing complexity, and me and my kids are enjoying it already. The magnetic peices are bendy and stick really well to the box for both storage and doing the puzzles. Most of the box size is due to the 100 double sided puzzle sheets. So far I have done 6 and already they are starting to make me think so this is also great for adults that enjoy puzzles as well as having some simple ones for kids.

A very good travel game.Might be too simple for some people but it does test your brain...Comes in a very nice storage case.

A Definite Brainteaser
I like puzzle games – I find them both distracting and challenging at the same time; something I can do to turn off part of my brain while giving another a good bit of exercise. Mostly I play them on my tablet, but the idea of a magnetic set of puzzles appealed to me, largely because it reminded me of the sort of travel games you could buy when I was a child. The carrying case is surprisingly heavy and is a very simple black plastic affair that’s a little bit tricky to get open. The puzzle cards are stored in a recess below one of the two magnetic “boards”; they, too, are more than a little troublesome to get in and out once you’ve freed them from their plastic wrapping. The playing pieces are colourful and stick well to the boards, but not so much that you have trouble detaching or rearranging them.I can’t agree with the manufacturer that the puzzles increase in difficulty as you work through the cards. They don’t, with some low numbered cards incredibly difficult to resolve, while the next one in the series is a cinch. There’s also nowhere to attach the card to the box while you puzzle your way through it, meaning that you still need a certain amount of space to play. (From the promotional picture, the manufacturers seem to be suggesting you should sit the card on the bottom magnetic board and resolve the puzzle on the top one, but in that case, where are you supposed to put your spare pieces, especially when dealing with the largest puzzles that take up most of the board?)Overall, this is a fun game, but it won’t work well as a travel game due to its weight and the awkwardness of getting at some of the components.

Good for younger children
A great game for my eight year old who absolutely loved the puzzles and was challenged by them. Not so good for older children like teenagers as they would find it a bit easy. Lost one star because although it is intended to be portable it is actually quite heavy and I would not want to be taking it on hoildaays.

Interesting concept but could do with more range in difficulty
This logic based game comes in a compact black carry case which is designed to be easily transportable. It is not large but is pretty heavy due to the magnetic aspect of the game. You are provided with 200 puzzles to solves which are meant to get progressively harder as you go through each board. Based around colour matching you have a number of magnetic coloured pieces which you use to complete the puzzle on each board before moving on to the next one. This product is aimed at ages 8 and up and although I would say this is about the right range I can't see it lasting too long as kids get older and are able to zoom through the puzzles quite quickly. It would be nice to have some real tough options in there to really get their brains working but sadly the puzzles mainly seem to be set at the lower end of the spectrum. This however does not stop it being an interesting distraction that makes children think but perhaps means it will not be a favourite to break out of the cupboard as it will quickly become a little boring.Overall the Learning Resources Kanoodle Duplexity Game has clearly got some solid thinking behind it with some nice concepts and ideas but it seems to have fallen short a little in its execution.
